I yearn for home-cooked food. Always.

I always appreciate whenever I get to sit down around the round table and sit down with family to enjoy the dinner.

Dinner at Miss Wu's house! All the dishes prepared by her hubby! HAHAHA! And all I did was to wait and eat only. ^_^!!! Chinese style, but it's delicious! Especially all the dumplings! Yummilicious! ^_^!!!

I just feel like writing something because the troubled feeling is back once again. Shit. I hated it. Can't wait for 18th to come.Wanna just get away from here, even for just 1 day.

Woke up at 6am and the 1st thought that came to my mind is "Ahh, it's Monday, a brand new 5-day week!"

Trying to drag myself out of bed and suddenly realized that I'm on leave today! ^_^_^_^_^_^!!! It's my 2nd trip to Universal Studios Singapore (USS) with Mr Lin, my BFF and Stanley together with Kris!

Went back to sleep awhile more and in the end overslept and was late for breakfast! *LOL!*

:) Reached around 1030 and all the ticketing counters are full of people. BIG CROWD! We chose to go on a Monday was to avoid the crowd, but unfortunately, we didn't know that Malaysia is having 2 days of public holidays.We got our tickets at a discounted price and there was a surprise waiting inside for us! :)

20 express queue tickets! ^_^!!! No more long queue!

Started the day with Mr Frankenstein! HAHAHA! He's quite a funny guy because he will just lace your hands around his head. Next on the stop was Madagascar! :) The photographer is super nice because he took 4 shots for us! LOL! We get to move around and change to different poses. ^_^!

After Shrek 4D, we went for our warm-up exercise! :) We went for the Enchanted Airways Dino Ride first! HAHAHA! It's a small roller coaster for the kids. Not that fast which explained the picture that we took live. *LOL!*

:) We decided to get wet first so that we can dry up while spending the rest of the day on the different rides. :) Rapid adventure at the Jurassic Park! HAHAHAHA! Lucky Mr Lin gotten his survival kit at the last minute. If not he will be super soaked to the skin. ^_^!!!

Lunch at the Discovery Court and right after that we went for Canopy Fall to have a bird view of USS. Another live shot while we're on the ride. ^_^!!! Quite tiring while queuing for all the rides, thus we went for the Waterworld show at the Amphitheater. I must say I was super impressed with the show and stunts used. Thumbs up! :)

Following the map, Revenge of the Mummy is next on the list! :) HAHAHAHA! I always love this ride because of the different visual effects in it. Though I knew what to expect, I still got a shock when there was a sudden drop. LOL!

Highlight of the day: Transformer Ride! :) HAHAHAHA! We knew that the queue will be super duper long, so we used our express tickets and went straight up to the ride! OMG! It's like 1 minute later, you're sitting in the capsule waiting for the ride to start. ^_^! That's the good thing about the express queue! :)

I'm totally lost in the whole ride. So captivated by the 3D effects and also how the ride went about. A bit of spoiler here. The capsule you're sitting in is actually an Autobot! :) HAHAHAHA! This is a must-take ride so I suggest you go straight for this ride once USS is open for the day. LOL!

Good things always worth the wait! 2 more rides of the day: Human & Cylon Battlestar Galactica! HAHAHAHA! I'm still scared of the Red ride (Human) because there isn't any support on your upper body. I don't feel safe at all. HAHAHAHA! Cylon is still the best though you will be overturned and twist around, and a 720deg turn! O.O!! I <3 Cylon more! More exciting and safer because your whole shoulder will be belted up.

Cool down exercise: Accelerator, i.e: Teapot! :) HAHAHAHA! Just to get dizzy before we leave for the day.

Still looking good before the ride. LOL! :)

:) Walked around the Broadway and snap some shots. By that time, my legs are so sour that I can barely walk. LOL! Had a quick dinner at Vivocity before going home (it's another working day the next day).

Had a great night talking with my Senior, seems like there's so many places that I wanna visit now. ^_^_^_^

:) Today is the first 5-days work week of 2012! And I'm on afternoon shift! Not too bad, cause I get to sleep till 太阳晒到PP! HAHAHAHA!

This CNY is not much different as last year or the previous years. It's kind of like a routine thing. Going to relatives' houses to 拜年....sit down and uncles & aunties will start to ask you questions. HAHAHA! Can't seems to 逃 away from all these questionings.

Am glad my mum let me out on 初二 to go see the Flower exhibition! ^_^!! And lucky that Mr Lin didn't go overseas for CNY this year!

The tram ride queue takes an hour before we can get to Sentosa. O.M.G! So we decided to talk a walk along the Broadway and enjoy a light breeze.

The first sight of blooms when we went passed the Gentry into Sentosa! :)

:) Finally manage to get a shot of the big USS globe without anyone else in the picture! LOL!

Walking down towards the Merlion place, you will see a lot of different flowers exhibits on different Dragon's statue. Very crowded day, and we're lucky that this shot has minimal tourist in it. HAHAHAHA!

:) By the end of the day, we're so tired walking around the whole place. LOL! Maybe it's because there's too many tourists and we had to make a big round to walk everywhere.

Left before the crowd starts to disperse....and we manage to take the tram back to Vivocity! :) Had a quick dinner at Brozeit! :)

Right after dinner, it's Viral Factor movie! ^_^!!! HAHAHAHA! I'm not a fan of Jay Chou or even Nicholas Tse but from the preview it seems like a full of action movie. HAHAHA! So we used the HSBC prepaid card and got ourselves 2 tickets!

And I must say our tickets are worth it! :) HAHAHAHA! It's a nice show! (Surprisingly!)

On a super side note, I'm so addicted to a new Korean drama recently! B.R.A.I.N! Not a typical romance drama, but a doctor's show. Full of brain surgery scenes. Not too bloody but a bit too gross. HAHAHA! Anyway, I like how the main character can be so arrogant yet deep down he's just like a normal human being, about to feel hurt and pain.

:) Short story, 20 episodes and I completed them in 4 days! I know it's a bit slow. -_-""

P.S: I wanna play Mahjong!!! HAHAHAHA!

:) Had a splendid time at the Countdown party for 2012. Imagine fireworks are around you, playing non-stop for the last hour before the new year arrived.

I'm glad I went to Phuket for the countdown. It was definitely an eye-opener to see so many people crowding on the beach, drinking beer and shouting at one another.

:) All the fireworks behind us! ^_^!!!

3rd Phuket trip in 2011. HAHAHAHA! I can say confidently that I know my way around there. So if you ever needs a guide, feel free to call me! *LOL!* Of course, it will be nice if you provide my air tickets + accommodation! :)

This trip is a bit different because Jingyuan & I had to plan all the activities for the rest (who is their virgin trip to Phuket). We drove to our own hotel, and also around Phuket to different places for sightseeing.

Our 1st lunch in Phuket, MK Gold Restaurant. Their duck is awesome, but I think the last time was even better! :) And a shot of us in the 1.3L Avanza (to carry 6 people up the slopes is a challenge!)

Now, I'm seriously planning for the trips for the entire year! It's so exciting, because I got the go-ahead from Mr. Lin to go Korea! O.M.G!!!!

12th December 2010 was my last try to donate blood. And I failed. Because I didn't get to have enough Fe in my system.

A year later, 16th December 2011, I sat there nervously waiting for my Fe results and praying that the value shown will be >12.5. If not it's another wasted trip and I got poked for nothing. LOL!

And there it was "13.6!" HAHAHA! I jumped up and went straight to find myself a chair to sit on! It means I can donate blood! WAHAHAHAHA! I guess those Fe supplements works and yeah, I'll continue eating them because I wanna be a regular donor from now on! :)

:) And that's me with my blood flowing out and right into that duper big bag (It's 450mL btw). And looking good after the whole process. I'm kind of worried I'll feel faint since I haven't had my breakfast and lunch. *YAY!*

On a side note, many people had the wrong concept that donating blood is painful. I had the first hand experience, so let me tell you, the pain is just like an ant biting you. I won't deny that there's pain, but trust me, the pain is short-lived and seriously it's much lesser than if you knock yourself into the wall. ^_^!!!

So don't wait anymore, bring a smile to someone and save another life. :) It's just an hour of your time only, but you can give the person another chance to see tomorrow.

MI:4 is damn awesome! ^_^!

:) 1 week ago I kept looking out for tickets to the premier of MI:4, and yes there was a special sneak preview at selected GVs! :))

Gotten my tickets right away to secure a good seat! ^_^!

I was so looking forward to the end of work so I can rush down for the movie! HAHAHAHA! And when I reached there, I was surrounded with "black people". First thought on my mind: Did I went to the wrong theater? And then when I see it's really MI:4, I thought maybe it's because tomorrow is a Black people's public holiday, which is not true. *Kept wondering why*

Show started and all the way I was kept occupied and right on the edge of my seat! :) Not going to tell you guys much about the plot, because I want you to go watch it yourself! ^_^!!! Those stunts that Tom Cruise did in the show is definitely worth your ticket price (and he's already 49!).

Alright, it might not sound funny here, but if you combined with all the funny expressions from their faces, you'll laugh.

And almost through the end of the show, I finally know why there's so many black people. It's because the last part of the show is filmed in India? Just a wild guess. HAHAHAHA! And after this show, I totally have a different mental image of India. You'll understand when you watched the show. WAHAHAHAHA!

Don't wait, go buy yourself a ticket. (If you guys need someone to accompany you, I don't mind watching a second time. ^_^! I'm a BIG Fan of T.C!)

SSMC Carnival cum Family Day 2011

It's true that just for the 4 hours of event for people to enjoy and have fun, will require 10 times more of your time to plan and prepare for it. But I'm really glad that the event turn out to be a success and everyone went home a smile on their face. ^_^!!!

This is just a short Thank You post, for everyone that has helped me in one way or another throughout the 2 weeks of planning. (Bear with me, it might get nag-gy!)

1) SRC Team (You know who you are!)

Without you guys I'm pretty sure the whole event will not even get approved by the MT. HAHAHA! Each of you played a different part to make this Carnival so successful and memorable. And also through this whole process, I get to know each of you better. And that's the most important 收获 for me.

2) My Diffusion peeps (Shu Fen, Wei Zhong & Keith)

Many thanks to Shu Fen for agreeing to be the Stall Manager and planning the details with me right from the start. The ideas for each stall to the allocation of prizes to going to Giant to help me carry all the stuff back to company. You've been a great help (Truly!)

Wei Zhong, for helping to tend to the Game stall and keeping all the kids so entertained that they came back again and again to try and win all the prizes. HAHAHAHA! You're really good with kids, and of course at the last part of the whole carnival tending to the Drink stall.

Keith, for sponsoring so many EXPENSIVE gifts for our stalls. Man, I think those prizes worth up to $500? (or even more!). And not to forget, sending me around to get my logistics done. Appreciate your help!

3) Mr Lin

Short and Simple: Always there for me! :) Alright, to elaborate more, he send me to Giant to get all my supplies back and carry all the heavy stuff for me. (Not enough?) For every night that I worked into the wee hours, he volunteer to drive me back home (which is like the other side of Singapore). And also to sleep in the car when I worked till 2am in the morning the day before the carnival before driving me back for some 2-3 hours of sleep. And all these are not part of his job, he's just doing them from his heart. :)

4) Everyone

For everyone who turned up for the event to support us, I really hope you guys had fun and enjoyed it as much as I did.

:) I'm glad the carnival is over, but yet a part of me still 舍不得 those weekly meetings where everyone gathers and discuss the smallest details.

Pictures will be uploaded at a later time, when all the official photographers have submitted their copy. I can't wait to see them! :))

Melting Pot Cafe

:) So here's what I promise you guys, an update on last Monday!

Had to rush down to The Melting Pot Cafe (Holiday Inn Atrium) because work ended so late that day. Anyway, I left in the middle of the meeting, as Mr Lin is already waiting outside for more than half an hour. :(

Took a cab down and was just nice in time for the reservations.

I was ravished and just started attacking all the food! LOL! I would say the food is just so-so only, have tasted better. But there's this beef stew that keep me very satisfied, and the amount I ate made me felt as though 我吃了一头牛! *LOL!*

Of course, we can't leave without having some desserts right? :)

We went to explore the hotel and found that there's quite a number of function rooms. Among these rooms is their Atrium Ballroom. Not as big as I thought to be.

The one thing I super like when I entered the hotel is the super long columns where the lift operates. I would love a shot of the whole lift all the way till the roof top. But of course, I need to lie down on the floor to take such a shot? :)))

We played with the camera for awhile right in front of the hotel reception area (hoping that no one is looking at us).

:) I have been busy with the all the Carnival stuff that I don't get to spend much time with him. Gotta make up all the lost time when it's all over.

:) I missed blogging and it's been ages since the last post! October was a long month, packed weekends and never ending work.

Getting my schedule book all filled up is great, but then too energy drain! HAHAHA! Get down to business, a short summary of my BUSY OCTOBER! :))

First cycling trip to Changi Village - 1st October 2011, East Coast Park, Changi Village

Alright, I know you must be thinking " Are you kidding? This is the first time I cycle from ECP to CV?" HAHAHA! I'm not kidding, this is really my 第一次. I tried a few times, but always half way till the duper long runway, I turned back. That road is endless but my legs are so tired.

It's an achievement, and it was nice just cycling with my colleagues.

Will & Rita's Wedding - 8th October 2011 Fairmont Hotel, Singapore

I'm the Emcee again (3rd time?), and this time round it was under the scorching sun besides a swimming pool! :) Lovely day and scenery since the suite is at a high level and the room is BIG. HAHAHA!

Lighting in the room is great, but then too much till I couldn't take a shot with the beautiful background. -__-"

MSE 20th Anniversary - 14th October 2011 Intercontinental Hotel

It's MSE that I met all these great friends and we could use a dinner gathering with them since everyone is so busy with work nowadays.

We run Nike SG & Real Run 2011 - 9th & 16th October 2011

2 consecutive runs for 2 weeks is total shagness.

2nd Phuket trip - 16th - 19th October 2011 Amber Residence

Traveled by Silkair was quite a luxury as compared to other flights I have taken the past year (Not counting Taiwan trip). HAHAHA! And yeah, the services is good, and in-flight meals ain't that bad. ^_^!

Stayed in Patong area, so much more convenient to travel around and save a lot of time. Hotel was simple, but clean (most importantly) with good breakfast. Spent much more on this trip since we did more activities this time round! Another first time for me: ATV! ^_^!!!

It's just a short course providing you with an oxygen tank to swim under the swimming pool. HAHAHA! But it's a new experience since I haven't carry an oxygen tank before, and it's really different swimming with the flippers and carry the tank.

Another Uni friend of mine got married! :) It was like another uni gathering with all my dearies around. I guess wedding is another good way to gather all the so busy friends! ^_^!

That's sort of summarize the whole month of October minus away the non-stop work! :) It's November now, and I can't wait for month end to come, because we're going to celebrate something special. ^_^!!!

Giving and taking is always never a balance. Some people choose to give more, while others choose to be on the receiving end. Me? I always hope to strike a balance between these two. But still, sad to say, it's not easy at all.

I guess that's the reality of life. Ups and downs. I just need to learn how to 看开点.

Besides, I know there's someone who will truly appreciate who I'm really is.

Finally I had the time to get all the Taiwan pictures from my sis. HAHAHA! I think it's duper long ago, but then with all the trips and work going on, getting enough sleep is already a big problem.

Still in Singapore, and I had already spend over a hundred bucks! -____-"" Feeling slightly better after the retail therapy! HAHAHAHA! Maybe it's all in the mind only.......

On board Cathay Pacific, on our way to Hong Kong first to before transiting to Taipei. All excited because I can't wait to watch the movies available. :)

While waiting for our brother to go get the train tickets to 花莲 the next day, we took some self shots at 台北车站, which is sort of similar to our City Hall. Interchange for us to change to the different MRT lines. :)

Made our way to 台北101 to have a look at the tallest (?) tower and to have our dinner. *stomach growling!* Passed by the 星光三月 (similar to Takashimaya, but much more atas) and was amazed by the amount of branded you can see in Taipei.

Lots of stone of different shapes and sizes. And the most famous being the "Queen's Head". HAHAHA! :) Super hot day, but lucky the stones are out at the sea so it was super windy! ^_^!!!

There's this one thing I feel that Singapore should practice such service is that they have a person on duty to help control the crowd. He will give instructions to tourists on queuing up to take photos and also to make sure that no one actually cut the Queue. This is good as the flow is very smooth and it's much faster. And it also help to create some employment opportunities isn't it?

Shall stopped at here, cause the photos sizes are real big and it's a bit hard to upload. LOL! Will upload more again! :))

Side note: It's funny why I'm having some mixed feelings now. I thought I convinced myself already, but then it's not true at all. *Sob* I want the old times.

Pretended to be a tourist to Sentosa for a day. *LOL!* A bit "sua-ku", but we really didn't know our way around Sentosa. So much changes in such a short span of time.We alighted at the Imbiah Station and found a Sentosa Map in order to find directions to the Desperados and the Cineblast ride. A short walk and along the way took some pictures. As though we're really tourists and this is our 1st time here. *shaking head!*

Snap a quick shot with the Merlion! :) Colorful parrots. They know how to strike a pose.

The Merlion statue, which I went up before! HAHAHAHA! But I remember not much view from the top either and there's a separate admission fee. Anyway, we found the directions and along the way saw this photo booth where there's lots of parrots hanging around. It's F.O.C to take photos with them and the crew also help to use your camera to snap a shot too.

We queued for 3 rides (main purpose of the trip):

Desperados - Shooting game where you get to sit on a horseback and start shooting at the screen. Interesting because you'll be shaking around and holding the gun trying to aim at the bandits. But for 12 bucks? I don't think so. *LOL!*

Cineblast: Extreme Log ride - Sitting in a cabin (6 persons each) with a safety belt and a handler for you to hold on. Just imagine rushing through the deepest valleys, and flying through the air (with no sense of directions) and floating on the water with crocodiles in it. Yeah, that's about it, except you don't really need to hold on the handler because only the chair that you're sitting on is moving. (Try the Cylon and Human roller-coaster in USS and I tell you, that's what I called a real RIDE!)

4D Magix - A short movie with 4D effects. Lots of water spraying onto your 3D glasses. And those huge fan (use as dryer outside shopping malls when it's raining) hanging around the theater to create lots of wind which is so damn cold. I'm just wearing a short. I prefer the 4D Shrek in USS though. LOL! Anyway, it's free tickets from some Taiwanese tourists. They're in the rush for dinner so they decided not to waste it and let us watch the show for free. :)

I think the highlights of the day is the dinner (no candlelight though) at the Starz Restaurant @ Hard Rock Hotel. HAHAHA! :)

The tables there are super long. You got to talk a bit louder across in order to hear what your partner is saying. -_-" Varieties are quite limited (a bit disappointed), and the Laksa is the only dish I thought of snapping a shot of.

:) My next favorite hangout place: Medzs, Simply Mediterranean. This new food and beverage outlet is part of the Food Junction Group, located at Orchard Central’s basement 2.

They serve Spanish, Moroccan, French, Turkish and Greek cuisine, in a open dinning concept. I was first introduced by my secondary school friends, and was pleased with the services and food. Best of all, they served all day 1-for-1 beers! ^_^!! It's not just local beers, but beers all around the world. ^_^!!!

Fruit beer, cider beer, and normal beer (as defined tastes like Heineken). That's the South Africa, Savannah Cider. There's the Dry and Light Savannah Cider (5% and 3% alcohol respectively). Very light beer, tastes just like apple juice. ^_^!!!

:) More beer to come along! USA beer and Belgium beer!!! HAHAHA! Look carefully, they have some really interesting names for their beer! /giggles!

:))) Besides beer, desserts is another must (who doesn't drink beer and eat something sweet at the same time?).

Some of their desserts are self service. Just take whatever you like! :) They served different desserts daily, so you won't be bored by their varieties. ^_^!!! The puffy waffles (with ice-cream) is delicious! ^_^!!!

Medzs is a cashless dinning place. You'll be given a card to use whenever you order your food and all charges will be credited into the card. At the end of the meal, you can just use the card and make payment at the exit. Easy and convenient! :)

A bit side track, I saw a post that was posted by a friend and was quite bothered by it ever since. Maybe he's right on the certain level. Humans are just selfish, they'll think about themselves first before considering others.

:) Attended my BFF's convocation last Thursday! So proud of you, my dear girl. I'm sure her parents are feeling the same way too.

Left around 1pm to go town with my dearies for some SHOES shopping! HAHAHA! It was planned long ago but always delayed due to our working schedules. :) The shop was recommended by Honey, Alegra. It has 2 branches, side by side, one at The Arcade and the other one at the Chervon House. Needless to say, I bought myself 2 pairs! O.O!!!

They have these super big mirrors for us to snap a full body shots! :))

Shoes for Cindy, I think the heels are very unique! :)

And of course, not to forget my shoes! Too red and pinky? HAhAhAA!

It's was a 满载而归 trip for everyone! :)

We were happily chit-chatting to the car, when I realized that I forgot to pump petrol before leaving house. -_-"" And when I started the engine and saw that the last bar (of petrol) is already blinking, I was so nervous! AHHHhh! The girls accompanied me to find the nearest SPC station (in case half way the tank went empty and I still have them to help me push the car? -_-"""). HAhAHA! Anyway, manage to find it in time and top to the brim!

Ohh, did I fail to mention that the parking fee cost us almost 19 bucks for that short 3 hours of shopping? O.O!! We thought that parking in a 老老 place will cost us less, but we were so wrong! The cash card only left with $1.83, and the SPC station couldn't top up. *Sign!* I was so sure that I'm going to get summon for crossing ERP with insufficient money.

When I went pass the first ERP, $1.50 gone! *Panicked!* And I got lost in town area, couldn't find the way back to Tampines to fetch Mr Lin. 555555555 So lost without anyone in the car to guide me. And there was a huge jam at Nicole Highway! Finally, after struggling for 45 minutes, I'm outside his office. LOL! Lucky, I was the one waiting instead of the other way round.

Went for a hair treatment right after that. The hair's so dry after a dip in the pool. I guess I need to invest in a swimming cap for long term hair care. LOL. Anyway, my stylist (just got promoted to Salon Director, which means I need to pay more for hair cut now -_-") decided to try something new on my hair.

Not that obvious on the photo. If you look carefully, my ends are a bit curl up. HAHAHA!

Anyway, I still prefer straight hair. It makes my face look less rounder. LOL! A very packed day, but at least I get to do what I love most: SHOPPING! LOL! :)))

^_^!!! Just came back from SRC team-building, a simple BBQ at East Coast Park. Am glad that Allivier came, she's one sweet little girl! :)

While editing the photos from the BBQ, I'll continue with Phuket trip. This time round, it's the Phi Phi Island! :)

The fishes <3 the bread! :))

At Maya Bay, very quiet Island, an ideal place for a short getaway, with your own tent and camping equipments

The package includes traveling to some offshore islands, mainly Maya Bay Krabi (where The Beach was filmed at), and the Island where there's a lot of beach umbrellas (I can't remember the name though). Along the way, we will stop and take a look at the nearby islands with the vast sea surrounding them and the blue sky as the back drop. A buffet lunch (very simple, but then it was delicious because we're hungry ghost!) *LOL!*. The water is clear, and if you have bread on your hand, the fishes will just appear out of nowhere. HAHAHA! I'm quite disappointed because I didn't get to see Nemo. -___-""

:) I like clear water, especially when I get to see all the colorful fishes and corals underneath it! :)

Am glad I brought my TX5, and is her virgin trip into the water! LOL! ^_^!!!

Seriously, I'm considering to get a scuba diving license now. Even though I don't feel safe (at all) when I'm underneath the water for long periods (you don't know what might be looking at you in the deep blue sea -_-"), I just can't help to wonder what's really under the water. HAHAHAHA! Very contradicting!

Found a new friend on our trip, an Italian who loves traveling alone. LOL! And he's been to Singapore before! ^_^!!!

The super duper funny tour guide for the whole trip! She's one cute lady, with a unique accent. Thais has this weird accent when they speak English, but I just can't help laughing whenever they do that. "Goooooooddddddd......Morrrrrnnnniiinnnggggg....." They like to stretch the words longer (than necessary) but this is what differentiate them from others.

Overall, a satisfied trip with lots of sight-seeing and of course the best part is when all the fishes surround you and nibble at your finger, trying to bite a bit of the little bread. HAHAHA! It's quite itchy, and I was afraid that they will bite other part of me. o.O! And of course, the paranoid me kept looking out for sharks. HAHAHAHA!

Back to mainland, and we all decided to go for some night market shopping! :) Stopped by a small roadside stall to have some bites first though. *Famished!*

The watermelon juice (with chunks of 西瓜 on top!) and Thai's meat ball with duper spicy sauce on top :)

His dinner: Sweet N Sour Chicken Rice and my dinner: Wanton Spinach noodle! :)

And after that we drove ourselves to the night market: Jatujak! :) HAHAHAHA! We parked just opposite the market, so dark that we can't see where we're walking. We didn't feel quite safe there, but then the whole place is full of cars and it's FREE! LOL!

My favorite: Sweet potato balls, and coconut pancake? :) There's a different colors of coconuts on top of the very thin crust.

A lot of shops selling clothes, shoes, bags and all sort of accessories. But what caught my attention the most was all the food stalls! :))) I would just stand at this stall and see what food they are cooking. This is the type of experience you won't get to feel in Singapore.

And when we got the stomach filled to the brim, we made our way home. :) An hour of drive back to our cosy home. It's tiring to drive at night, but then I had to make sure that the other 3 reached home safely. Lucky Mr. stayed awake to talk to me, so I won't doze off.

HAHAHA! Who ask me to 逞强, keep saying I'm not tired and wants to drive home? -___-""

P.H.U.K.ET, Land of Sunshine :)

:) Still, the memories linger around my head even though I'm back from Land of Sunshine 1 week ago.

Time really flies, a blink of the eye and I'm back to reality again. I seriously missed those times I had in Phuket! I almost wanted to stay there and become a Thai. LOL! ^_^!!!!

Waiting for our flight, early in the morning. :) The rest are busy shopping around the Budget Terminal, while we're trying to stay awake. LOL! It's quite some time since I last took Tiger Airways, and the last experience wasn't as good. *shaking head!*

Don't we look excited about the holidays? ^_^!!! *Credits to Benny for capturing us before we fly!*

An hour plus of flight, and here we are! :) At the Phuket International Airport! ^_^!!! I think I slept throughout the whole flight, holding my storybook, without even reading 1 word. -_-""

Me, myself, with my newly bought luggage! 4-wheels! ^_^!!!

We cleared the customs quickly and went out to settle the car rental admin stuff. :) Here's the Honda Jazz to bring us around Phuket for the next 4 days! *WINKS!*

Very brand new car, quite out of our expectations! ^_^!!!

It feels so familiar when I sat behind the wheel. :) I have been driving Jazz throughout my whole driving course. Definitely missed the feeling! :))

Finally, everyone cleared the customs, and we found the way to the Hotel. OFF WE GO! *zoom!*

We missed the turn, and had no choice but to drive further down before we can see a U-turn. HAHAHA! This time round we didn't dare to drive too fast, and YAY! we found our hotel (or maybe we should say Villa?)! :)

We were brought to one of the house first (the other is still not ready yet) and was totally astounded by the homey feeling and the small details at every corner of the house. It's even bigger than the house I lived in. O.M.G!

We spend an hour plus exploring the house, and unpacking our luggage to prepare the days ahead! :)

While unpacking, we google-mapped to find our way to Patong Beach so that we can get ourselves the package to Phi Phi Island the next day. About an hour of drive according to the map, but in the end we took about 2 hours plus. Because we stopped along the way to grab a bite (our last meal was McDonald's Big Breakfast in the Singapore Airport -_-"")! And of course, we got lost along the way. ^_^!!! What's a road trip if you don't get lost once a while?

Here we are, at the biggest shopping mall in Phuket, Jungceylon :)

The parking rates here aren't that cheap, but we feel is much safer as compared to parking along the beach. 毕竟车不是我们的，要好好照顾! @_@

Bargaining for the best price to Phi Phi Island! ^_^!!

The lady have to entertain us just because we told her we wanted anything less than 1000 baht! LOL! The good thing about traveling in big groups is that you get to enjoy more discounts on packages! :))

:) I'm a happy girl, in a happy world now!

Just celebrated my 24th birthday (Yeah, I'm getting older and older!) with dolling myself up first in the morning, followed by a relaxing afternoon at the roof top of Vivocity (with a cup of 贡茶's Earl Grey Milk tea)! ^_^!!!

So, what's up with the dolling myself up in the morning? HAHAHAHA! It was actually from Facebook when I saw that Anna Sui's having a Makeup transformation workshop. I remember it was a link uploaded by a colleague's wife. Just out of curiosity, I called up the Anna Sui's counter to check out this workshop and VIOLA! I got myself 2 seats (1 for myself, 1 for my sister) and it's going to be on my birthday! :)

What attracted me to the workshop is that they will be teaching us 3 styles of eye makeup and 1 of them is my all-time favorite! Rock N Roll style - Smoky eye effect! HAHAHA! It's not easy to apply these effects to the eyes, but if you really managed to do that, your eyes become really seductive. HAHAHAHA! A good example is Tyra Banks (ANTM).

The workshop has a small cosy setting, with a total of 7 persons and each of us are able to use the wide range of makeups to doll ourselves up! :) We're were first show how to apply the different style of makeup (on 1 side of our face) and after that we've to apply the other side ourselves. Lots of hands on, and there's are always a lady there to guide you. :)

These are some (there's much more) of the eye shadows colors and lip glosses that we can use to try out on our face. LOL! You just don't know which color to choose from. :)))

Something unique about Anna Sui's product is her delicate casings with all the beautiful cravings on the boxes and vivid colors amid all the black colors.Alright, I know it sound funny, but then if you seen a Anna Sui's store, the whole concept is already different from others. :))

Sis N myself, after finishing with our eye make up :) And of course with Michelle, the makeup artist who taught us the 3 different styles of applying eye shadows! :) Lovely lady!

Right after the workshop, it's quite obvious we're so excited buying some of the products home to practice more. SHOPPING! HAHAHAHA! Indeed, we bought quite a number of colors, but then it's worth it because there was a special discounted package for us to choose from.

2 different packages :) With all the basic necessities :)

A little goodie bag for all that attended the workshop :) I just <3 the bottle! ^_^!!!

And a limited edition Anna Sui's tumbler, for joining them as member :)))

And off I went with a pretty face fo rmy birthday celebration! :) LOL!

Still unpacking the luggage! 太阳饼, 黄利酥, and all my loots are all over the room now. *LOL!* Super untidy, yet I'm happy to see these stuff all over the place.

Am glad I listen to mum and joined the rest of the family for this trip. ^_^!!! I wanted to back out last minute because of the swollen face. *BOO!* I can't imagine missing out all the fun, food, scenery, good services and not to forget, Mr. Sunshine who got me a new tan. -_-""

A sick me, waiting to board the flight to Hong Kong. :)

We took Cathay Pacific (first time for me again!) to Hong Kong before transiting to Taipei. Very convenient since it's only an hour of transit time, and Hong Kong has the best duty free shopping experience. ^_^!!! Newly renovated, there's so much for you to shop around! :))

There was an airport transfer (Volkswagen 7-seater!) to our Hotel - YOMI Hotel. Good location, within walkable distance to the MRT, and lots of food and bubble tea shops around the area. ^_^!!!!

I think this room is meant for couple, because of this painting and the couple jacuzzi in the bathroom. It's quite a waste since I'm sharing the room with my sister. LOL! ^_^!!! If you're planning to visit Taipei, I recommend this hotel to you, and of course try to request for Room 201 to enjoy the jacuzzi! ^_^!! LOL!

Tanah Lot, Mount Batur

Back for more on the Bali trip. This time round I'll show you guys more sunshine and sunset! ^_^!!!

We decided to go to Tanah Lot (before our trip) because Keith recommended this place and it's also where he took his wedding shots! It was great and we thought that we might be able to capture some of the sunset. :)

Tanah Lot is located at the edge of Bali. You're just 1 step away from the big sea just by standing on top of these rocks. It's actually quite low tide when we reached there, which is considered lucky cause we don't have to wade in the water to go right to the end of the rocks. We were told during high tide, all these low lying rocks will be covered by seawater which makes it even more dangerous to walk on it.

After an hour plus of waiting, finally the sun is setting. It was a damn hot day and the place is super crowded. Warm and stuffy! But then, when I stood at the edge of the bridge, and right in front of me was the sunset, my heart melted. HAHAHAHA! I mean you guys don't get to see such sunset in Singapore. It's a totally different feeling. Especially with the waves as the background noise.

A duper nice guy helped to take a picture of us. And right behind us is a small temple. Lots of praying offerings behind us.

Right after sunset, it's the sunrise! HAHAHA! ^_^!!! We took a package which includes transportation to and fro Mount Batur from our hotel, a hot spring bath and a spa treatment. The whole package cost us USD58/person which is about SGD75.

The trip started at 2am in the morning, and it was about 2 hour trip to Mount Batur. There was quite a big group of people trekking with us, so it was quite lively the whole journey up. Till the last part of the climb, I was really getting tired since it gets more and more steeper. And I was busy yawning away! LOL!

It was still quite dark when we reached the peak, nothing much to see so why not enjoy a bottle of coke while waiting?

I must say: It's TOO COLD up at the peak! HAHAHAHA! I was only wearing a shorts + sleeveless top with a thin cardigan to protect myself from the strong winds. O.M.G!

As I look, the world gets brighter and brighter. A brand new day arrives.

Right behind me is the crater hole from the 1st volcano eruption. It's really deep...........

Those mist behind us are actually steam from the Volcano. Did I fail to mention that this volcano is still active? o.O!!!!

The trip down was even more challenging since the path is full of small rocks, which make it extremely slippery. And while telling the person in front of me to be careful, I actually slipped and fell. Damn painful when I landed on my palms on these stones! >.<"" Nevertheless, it was quite an achievement to climb all the way up.

Villa Kresna - Seminyak

The villa that we choose to stay in during our Bali trip: Villa Kresna, Seminyak.

It's a full length glass sliding door, thus before you sleep at night, you have to remember to pull the curtains if not everyone will be able to look into the room. LOL!

This is the roof and dressing table that greeted us when we open our door the room. :)

The room is actually a mini-house, with 4 pillars at each corner. Initially I was afraid that the roof might 漏水 when it rains, since it looks as through it's built using the bamboo sticks. But lucky, there's concrete on it, and no water can go through (it rains on the 2nd day! ^.^).

Usual stuff at the Mini-bar, nothing special with a small fridge. But the closet is super duper big. HAHAHA! 2 luggage and still there is ample space to put me inside! :)))

Simplicity is good. :) Toilet with all the necessary amenities. Clean and tidy, I like! :))

The ultra-soft sofa :) Long enough for me to sleep in, and very cooling because the air-con is blowing cool air directly on the sofa!

The bed! LOL! Big enough to sleep 3-4 person. But it's quite hard (would prefer the sofa instead) and if only there's more pillows! -_-"" But it's right in front of the TV, so I get to lie down everyday and watch TV till I fall asleep! HAHAHA!

It's just a short post on the room, nothing fancy since we didn't want to spend too much on the accommodation. More pictures to come! :)

B.A.L.I, a SPA paradise :)

I'm covered with insect bites all over my body! *Eeewww!!!!* And I totally have no idea where did all these bites come from?! No mopiko, only lotion on hand to stop the itch for now.

Just back from Bali, was a fun trip, with lots of scenery and sunshine! And also for the first time I done a full SPA! HAHAHA! The Spa experience was definitely a WOW, since I wasn't expecting that kind of services they provided but nevertheless it was very 舒服! ^_^!!!

The interior of the Spa shop, The Body Spa. :) Very Balinese style, and there's always a sweet-smelling air around you.

For RP$300,000 (around SGD44), we started off with a foot scrub in a pot with flower petals. Nothing special about it, I supposed it's just a leg wash. Right after that, we have to undress ourselves for the full body massage with the Lavender oil (a few choices to choose from). The thing about this full body massage is that it's REALLY a full body massage, meaning you have to turn over for them to massage your front side too. HAHAHA! *blush!*

The different types of massage oil to choose from. I guess most girls will choose rose, but I prefer Lavender more! ^_^!!!

When she told me to turn over, I was like "HUH?!?!?!". I'm literally not wearing anything except for the small shorts they have given me. So asking me to turn over is like exposing myself to her (who I only knew for like an hour only). So I was quite reluctant, but no choice cause she was quite persistent in helping me to turn over. LOL! I was giggling throughout the whole front body massage.

Anyway, after the whole body massage is the Green Tea body scrub followed by a milk cream moisturizing. The scrub was very comfortable, not painful at all. And when she put the milk cream on me, I felt like a baby again, with brand new skin! S.M.O.O.T.H!

The last part and also the BEST part of the whole Spa is the Bubble bath with LOTS of flower petals in it! It's a like princess bath specially for you. HAHAHA! And they will pour more warm milk cream over you and leave you to play in the bathtub. ^_^! One word to describe: SHIOK!

After the bubble bath, I showered away all the foams and milk followed by another full body moisturizing. HAHAHA! And this make me laugh even more cause it's even more itchy. LOL! I think the therapist must be thinking I'm a crazy girl.

Too bad I didn't take any pictures inside the Spa room. If not you will understand the feeling of being a princess! ^_^!!!

The small little details in around the shop makes me feel right at home here. :))) I just <3 these 3 little pigs!

The whole Spa took around 2 hours, and the lady actually offer us a free ride back to the Villa because our driver had already went back for the day. Very good services from them, as they're very flexible in the arrangement for us.

A happy, fully-moisturized me, waiting for the ride home! :)))
Ohh, not to forget there was also a head massage with facial clean! See how bright my face is even without make-up! ^_^!!! (Or is just because of the lighting? >.<"")

Ah Yat Seafood = a pocket in the jeans

Back to Ah Yat SEAFOOD! :)) HAHAHA! It was supposed to be a paint a$$ day followed by some really good food, but because now was the exam period, most of us couldn't make it for the event. So in the end we decided to just go for the good food instead.

So here we are, at Ah Yat seafood, Turf City. (I drove down myself! *heex!*)

Yes, they're well-known for the abalone, but you can see for yourself, kids like us can't afford to enjoy these delicacies. HAHAHA!

We ordered quite a lot of dishes, and not disappointed with any of them. You can check the photos out here.

Another agenda on the list is also to celebrate the birthday boys. :)) After dinner dessert is the Bakerzin chocolate amer. Very sinful, but who cares. ^_^!!!

After much consideration, we decided to go Henderson waves to enjoy the night scenery and breeze! :)) And that's where I first park my first parallel parking since I got my license. *LOL!* Not very good, but still the car is inside the slot. ^_^!!!

:) And I'm impressed with my camera because it's very dark at Henderwaves but still the shot manage to show our faces! :)) And while enjoying the breeze, we decided to go Genting on Voting day. *LOL!* This is how impromptu we are. *YAY!*

On a side note, I was half dead at the end of the day. Driving the whole day is very 累人.

I have all my traveling plans out for the next 3 months. Hotel and air tickets are booked. All I need to do now is to start saving for all these trips! ^_^!!! Something to look forward to keeps you going everyday. :)) Don't you agree?

And now, I'm looking forward to Election Day, not because I get to vote (for the 1st time!) but because I'm going for a road-trip to Genting right after that! ^_^!!!! Yes, we're going to drive up ourselves! YAY!!! I haven't been to Genting since I was in Primary 1 or 2. So I'm definitely excited about this trip, the cooling weather, the theme-park, the casino? HAHAHA!

Indeed, a long weekend! I started with a bitter Friday, but ended with a sweetest Sunday! ^_^!!! Shall post more on the weekend in the next post! :)))

Anyway, right before the long weekend, we had a small gathering with my dearies and at the same time to celebrate Mr Lin's birthday! We decided to have potluck this time round since it will be easier to prepare food for the whole group of us. :)) Each of us bring a dish to Stuart's house to gather.

Short getaway is always a bliss! :)))

Time to post some photos from the short getaway to Kuala Lumpur (KL), Malaysia! If you read through the previous posts, you can more or less know what to expect there. HAHAHA! I mean KL is big, and I didn't get the chance to explore the whole place. It's not easy at all too, especially when I can't even speak simple Malay. -_-""

Aeroline Coach Services

I haven't tried their services before and through some friends heard that they actually provide similar services like when you're taking air flights. Something like serving you drinks and food on board by a suit guy. LOL! :)) Anyway, since we're curious about them, we decided to buy their 1-way ticket there for SGD49/person.

The pick-up point is at Harborfront Center, which is nearer to my house since the usual pick-up point is at Golden Mile. Just checked in at their counter with the online reference number and you're ready to board the bus. Fast and easy.

It's a 26-seater double deck bus, with most of the passengers on the upper deck.

Indeed, it was super spacious that my legs can't even reach the floor. HAHAHA! I <3 it cause I get to swing them around while reading my book. ^_^!!!

I can't believe I found an electric plug besides me too. It's super convenient if you are using the laptop for some work stuff. But I wonder where these electricity comes from. And they have the LCD screen in front of the bus for everyone to watch the movies. A bit too far for the passengers behind to see though.

The breakfast set served on board :) The food is so-so only, nothing special, but something to keep your stomach from growling. :))

The drop-off point is at Corus Hotel, which is nearer to KLCC rather than Bukit Bintang where our hotel is located. So we have to find another transport to take us back to Berjaya Times Square Hotel to check in. Lucky, we managed to find a 7-seater cab so we can travel together as a group. It's safer this way! ^_^!!!

We booked 3 studio rooms but was told that 2 of the rooms were upgraded to a Family suite ^_^!! HAHAHAHA! Definitely very excited about it.

The living room and the kitchen :)

Very spacious living room, with the study table, dining table and TV. The kitchen is big, with the kettle and fridge. However, all the cabinets are empty which is a waste since they look good. Maybe they just want us to order room service. HAHAHA!

The kids' bedroom with a adjoining bathroom :) HAHAHA!

2 separate single beds for Honey and myself! :) We have our own bathroom too (without the bath tub though). HAHAHA! This way we don't have to share with the guys. LOL! :))) Anyway, the shower room and toilet is separated so we can use the bathroom together at the same time. There's a TV with a stereo system and a fridge inside the room.

The guys share the master bed, but each of them take turns sleeping on then sofa in the living room! HAHAHA! Just nice 3 nights, 3 guys.

Our first meal in KL, Krispy Kreme Donuts :)))

A simple meal to keep our stomach partial filled since it was already way passed the lunch hour. The other half of the stomach shall wait for the dinner.

Some highlights of the trip (Day 1):

Fish Spa, aka getting bitten by fishes. LOL!

:))) Trying to ignore the itchiness when the fishes nibble at your feet.

I always went back to this shop for their fish spa and foot reflexology whenever I'm in KL. If I didn't remember wrongly, the shop is "Best friend" and is located along the busy street of Bukit Bintang. Rates are really competitive, so just walked around before deciding on which shop to go to.

Lots of dead skin on the legs = more fishes biting you! ^_^!!!

Red BoX, which is similar to our Kbox! :)))

As requested by Han, we went in search of a place for him to show off his singing skills. HAHAHA! And we settle for Red BoX inside Low Yat Plaza, which is super near to our hotel (within walking distance). They served mid-night supper and we sang for around 5 hours for RM50 per person. Reasonable price.

By the time we're back to the hotel and ready for bed, it was already 5 plus in the morning. HAHAHA! Damn long day, and I knocked out the moment my head hit the pillow. ^_^!!!

From Tampines to Woodlands and back to Jurong. In raining condition (or more like drizzling). One word to describe: T.I.R.E.D. Especially after a hearty dinner. LOL!

HAHAHA! But I made it home safely, with 1 sitting beside me checking out the hazards (if any), and the other 1 soundly asleep. ^_^!!! I didn't scared them at all! :)))

1st night stay in Singapore's hotel...........

Like what my mother told me "没有家住啊? 为什么要花钱去住酒店?!" HAHAHA! And I explained to her why I wanna stay in a local hotel. Just for the sake of experience and if any foreigners were to ask me which is a good hotel to stay in, at least I can tell them I stayed in **** hotel before. -_-" Lame explanations but too bad. ^_^!!!!

So for my first time, I chose Marina Bay Sands (MBS), because I get to enjoy special rates! Don't think I will spend 400+ bucks for one night stay. It's not as though I'm earning big bucks too. -_-""

The reception desk to check in.

There's 3 Towers in MBS, and the check in desk is in Tower 1, which is closer to the Casino. And while waiting for the queue, a welcome drink is served. It's a common practice among most of the hotels nowadays, but this is the first time, I drank Champagne. LOL!

Nice and sweet.

Once the checked in are done, we have to walk all the way back to Tower 3 for our rooms. That's the hassle part, but no choice. I supposed because we got the room at a discounted rate, so we have to make a longer way to the room.

We didn't get a high level room, but I kind of like the room number. :)

The door which we came through, and a full length mirror which I <3 a lot! :))) And the king-sized bed which isn't that hard as it looks. :))

I went to try out their tv, and the screen that greeted me had my name on it. HAHAHA! How classy is that? :))) As usual, they have cable tvs and some other channels. Besides that, they have a list of other categories for you to choose. However, each movies from these categories are chargeable :)) No $ No movie! HAHAHA! And guess what? There's the ADULT categories. LOL!

I like hotel rooms that have 贵妃椅 rather than those coffee table and chairs. :))

Overall, I think it's just a normal room, with all the necessity. So I feel that it's a bit over-priced considering I have stayed in better hotels outside Singapore at a much lower rate. HAHAHA! But then, one special thing about this room is that they have huge bathroom! -_-""

This is just the basin only.

The shower room and the toilet are separated. :) Maybe you can't see how big bathroom is from the pictures. But I can assured you that it's REALLY big. And the door do not have a lock. It's those push-&-close-door type so you might feel a bit insecure while using the bathroom. HAHAHA!

Indeed, they have a large collection of drinks in the mini bar and of course they're chargeable. The 1 thing special about it is that once you touch and move the drinks, it's considered SOLD! -_-"" HAHAHAHA! Very high tech, and scary. LOL!

If you see clearly, the sensor is actually the black pad under the can of red bull. We were already pre-warned during check in by the personnel in regards to the mini-bar. So after opening the door of the fridge to have a look, the rest of the night we didn't dare to go near to it. LOL!

Breakfast is not inclusive for this stay. But we thought since already spent so much on the room, we might as well also dine in the hotel and see where the standard is. LOL! So we just picked a place to eat our breakfast before going up the Sky Garden to enjoy the morning breeze.

The friendly manager helped us to get a table fast so that we have enough to go up and play before we have to check out at 12 noon.

International buffet style breakfast, usual food served in most hotels. The only thing I went to get at least 3 times is the scrambled eggs. LOL! It's really really nice, buttery and smooth. YUMILICIOUS! But overall, the food is just average, nothing too special about it. And it costs a bomb.

If I didn't calculate wrongly, the room + the breakfast = 1 night standard rate. LOL!

After breakfast, went straight up to the Sky Garden.

I'm actually looking down at the Singapore Flyer. LOL! :))) The temperature upstairs is very cooling, somewhat like Genting temperature. Very cooling even though the Sun is high up in the sky. On a cloudless day, you'll be able to see super far away.

The panoramic view of the Sky Garden swimming pool. :)) It's really a regret that I didn't bring my swim suit along. I totally forgot about it! -___-"" And only hotel guests are allowed to swim there. So even if I buy a ticket up to the Sky Garden again, I don't get to swim there.

We spent about an hour up there, enjoying the scenery and breeze. Till the Sun gets too hot for us to endure. LOL!

One last shot before checking out! :))

Ohh, and one more thing that's quite special. It's their lift. You've to insert the hotel card in order to press the button to the room level. Quite a good idea so as unwanted visitors won't be able to go up the hotel as and when they like. HAHAHA!

Once we checked out, we went back to take a Sampan boat ride in the middle of the Convention Center. LOL! I think this concept is similar to the of the Venetian Hotel in Macau.

That's about all I have for the 1 night stay in MBS. HAHAHA! If you really have lots of money and nothing better to do with it, then I suggest you can book a room and stay there. But like what my mum says, what's the point of staying in the hotel when you've a house here. :)))

So moody for the past few days. -_-" Serious PMS (it's POST Menstrual Syndrome, btw)! And just a bit of tickle, I can super pissed off with you (pardon my words!).

While I'm 啃面包ing, Han message over telling us he had already booked the tickets for Jacky Cheung's concert! *Excited!* I can't believe I'm interested to go for his concert rather than Jay Chou's concert. *LOL!* Who cares, he's one of the 四大天王, I'm sure the ticket is worth every cent!

And, I promised Han that I will book tickets for The Lion King musical (at MBS!) tonight! ^_^!!! YAY! We managed to find seats for the 4 of us! It's going to happen in 2 weeks time! Another 第一次 for me, and I'm sure I won't be disappointed, given that this musical is so well-known.

HAHAHA! I'm back, safely in 1 piece, with high cholesterol level, 1 full bag of dirty clothes, 1 big hole in the pocket. But I'm a HAPPY girl, fully energized for the work week ahead!

I know it's totally random, but this is the first thing I did when I reached home. ^_^!!!!

It's quite a sad song (don't think I can't understand the lyrics -_-"") and to sing it well, I think you need a lot of feelings in it.

Wild night for 2 consecutive days! (Part 2)

Yes yes yes, I'm back for the 2nd night of our DnD! ^^

For the 2nd night, I managed to book a room to stay over. We checked in at the room 1019 at 3.30pm and was greeted with a super duper big bathroom! HAHAHA! I shall post more on the room in my next post. :)))

My make-up artist is very nice to make her way down to MBS just to prepare me for the night! Indeed, very sweet of her. While she's getting prepared with all her gears, I went round the room snapping shots away. I was a little bit disappointed because I expected a little bit more than an average hotel room. :(

Anyway, I was nicely dressed and ready for the night ahead! ^_^!!!! Shall let the pictures to do the talking.

*shaking head* Yes, this post came a bit too late. But it's better than never. :)))

So here it is, the first big event of 2011! *LOL!*

:) For the first time in my life, I attended a Dinner & Dance (I didn't even went for my Grad night during Uni days -_-"")!!! HAHAHA! And it was incredibly FUN, HAPPY, and deliciously drunk (for some of my friends, definitely NOT me)!!! And it's at the Marina Bay Sands (MBS)!

The best part is I get to attend the DnD for 2 nights. All because I'm part of the SRC, where we need to help out some parts of the whole event. :)) The catch is that I only get to sleep an hour before I need to rush down to help out. -_-"" For the first night, I'm helping out at the reception desk, helping the guests to register and take part in the everyone-looking-forward-to lucky draw! :)) And also some of the games during the dinner.

Stayed at the Reception till 8 plus, waiting for the latecomers. It's a Friday, most probably got caught up with stuff at work. -_-"" Anyway, we missed the opening ceremony, but heard that there's lots of dancing around. Managed to grab some food before getting busy with other small stuff outside. In the end, the only food I ate was the appetizers only. -_-""

I was on duty for 2 events, the Deal or No Deal and for the Top 20 lucky draw hold-the-fish-bowl girl. HAHAHA! Well, for the first event, I'll just open the boxes and show everyone how much cash it contains. Surprisingly, the amount is A LOT! HAHAHA!

I have no idea why I am laughing so happily away. I'm not the winner, but still it was a pleasant shock when I opened up the box. HAHAHA! 600 bucks in 1 night! OMG!!! ^_^!!!

And the part where everyone looks so forward to is the Lucky draw! HAHAHA! I'm honored to be standing besides the CEO while he draws the lucky number. And I kept telling him "Sir, please draw Sarah's number!" HAHAHAHA! :))

I was going to drop dead (not to mention super duper hungry) when the whole event ended! Mr. came to fetch me home, but went to grab some tau huay at Selegie so that I won't 做恶梦 (because 肚子饿 -_-"")! ^_^!!! Slept like a pig till the next day................

Lucky for me, I wasn't drunk (or should I say I didn't drink at all) the night before. I don't have to rush like mad to prepare for the 2nd night. Slept till 12 plus in the afternoon, and cabbed down to MBS to check into the room and get ready with make-up and dress.

Sometimes a different angle shot gives a different feeling. I personally like the first shot more. It's definitely more candid, and I think I have a better side profile. HAHAHA! Many thanks to V. for this lovely shot! ^_^!!!

I know it's a bit abrupt, but there's too many nice photos for the 2nd day! HAHAHAHA! I'm still in the midst of consolidating all the photos and doing some self-editing! HAHAHA!

Had the CNY dearies gathering at Wenney's place last Sunday! :)) HAHAHA! Quite a good attendance, considering it was quite a last minute decision. Many thanks to Wenney's mum for preparing food for us, and also for the house for everyone to gather together! :))))

Brought the Polaroid camera (without any firms though -__-"") and took a whole pack of photos! ^_^!! *LOVES!* HAHAHA! But those pictures are edited with the new apps. :) Very oldies, look like some old school photos! :)))

:)) How's the ang bao collecting so far? Heex! And all the hopping from house to house, seeing long time no see relatives and friends? Pineapple tarts, ba gua, candies N chocolates, mandarin oranges, 开心果!

Honestly, I haven't enjoyed myself much for this CNY. Reunion dinner didn't eat much since the food doesn't stay inside the stomach. Missed all the good food 哥哥 and 嫂嫂 prepare. It was a 中西和拼 (don't know I got wrote wrongly a not -_-"). Mummy prepare some must-have dishes that Dad requested. LOL! And they were enjoying eating while I sit there and scowled. =.=||

Since they're enjoying themselves, so I might as well keep myself busy. I helped to BBQ the food, but then the hand gets sauna. I tell you, the charcoal my brother bought is damn strong. So HOT! HAHAHA! And of course, I have Aiko to keep me company! ^_^!!!

P.S I think she knows she look better on her side. Every time we pose for photos, she will turn her head away and just show us her side view. -___-""

大年初一, we went to Marina Bay platform. This is what we usually do every year too. :)) I wanted to bring my parents up the Singapore Flyer, but they kept on insisting NO! -_-"" I mean, 120 bucks for 30 minutes of ride is definitely not worth it at ALL! So we just walked around there and came across the new food place. HAHAHA! It's very oldies, and some of the food is good. :))))

Headache weekend

I like to hear my phone rings. That means someone is thinking of you and he/she is calling you up. :)))

But today I wanted so badly just to throw the phone away and hide at one corner. :'( I thought yesterday was bad enough, but today is even worse. Imagine, the phone rings every 2 minutes. And each time it rings, a list of must-do-it-asap things are written on the book. -_-"" Temperature tuning, RTMs, change status of tools, to note down manual measurement data and decide whether the lots can be released, etc

Yes, everyone goes through this tough period but then asking me to do it for 2 days is really so damn tiring. But at least I learn more about each tools and their recipes. And I'm a lucky girl, have a bunch of really helpful friends in the fab. They can be real sweet too. :))

Another week starts in just another hour. Hopefully I make it through peacefully. ^_^!!!

Side note: Mr. bought me a new iphone cover when he went overseas during the CNY holidays! *YAY!* He knows I like to have the same old style. So he got me a red (my favorite!) and same design cover (maybe different brand?)! And a car charger so that we can charge the phone whenever we're on the road. ^_^!!!

:)) HAHAHAHA! Spent the morning watching Hello Stranger on 大年初一! Yeah I know, you must be thinking, AGAIN? Well, I wanted to watch something happy and this show just popped right into my mind. ^_^!!!

And I laughed all over again. Damn shiok and it's something to take my mind off the stubborn stomach. -_-""

I found the soundtrack and now I <3 Thai song more! *LOL!* Though I don't understand a single word, but just listening to it makes me smile. :)))

:) Had a late lunch at home. Mummy cooked Shark Fin's soup! *YUMS!* ^_^!! I was afraid that the food doesn't stay inside, so I only drank the soup. No solid food for me. -_-"" Missed all the good food, especially Abalone!!! They finished up the whole plate, but I secretly ate one small piece.

"Eat first, suffer later." LOL!

And off to grandparents' house to 拜年, didn't stay long cause we wanted to go 河畔 to have a look. :)

It was a long day outside, but I am a happy girl. Cause I get to drive the family out for the first time. ^_^!!!

A few first times this weekend. :)) HAHAHA! Life's just too sweet for me.

First time preparing CNY stuff for the whole department! :) Yeah, it is my first time having CNY celebrations with my colleagues. The first round is the Lou Hei session, which I bought from さかえ @ White Sands (Many thanks to Shawn for trusting his car with me. ^_^!!!!).

For $128, we had this Chinese New Year bundle consisting of a large Yu Sheng, a sushi patter and a "side-dishes" patter. Quite worth it, and it was very filling. :))

:) Our Furnace peeps, together with Fab 10 transfer guys. And of course, not to forget those who work real hard in the fab! :)))

And right after the Lou Hei, I had to prepare a food corner for these work-too-hard guys. Spent the Saturday whole afternoon in Giant shopping and queuing (for more than 20 minutes) to pay for all the stuff. And at night, went on to Chinatown to do some shopping. That's where the 2nd first time comes.

Imagine it's open space and only some small canvas above your head to prevent those stalls from the rain. -_-"" My legs were soaked and super uncomfortable. But lucky, I still manage to grab a few stuff for the food corner and myself. ^_^!!! And seriously, this is the first time it rains while I'm shopping for CNY goodies after so many years.

We parked the car at Central, Clarke Quay, and I gotten my 3rd first time. I drove down the spiral car park myself! HAHAHA! And yes, it was quite dizzy, but I made it down safely. Just when I thought it's going to be a smooth trip home, the rain starts to get heavier. -_-"" And I haven't tried driving in such heavy rain before (consider my first time again). A bit panic but no choice cause I couldn't stop the car and switch driver. HAHAHA! I was driving an average of 60 on the expressway. O.o!!! But Mr. was always on the lookout for danger. Heex! Home safely. After almost 45 minutes.:)))

Totally random, but this is yet another 第一次 for my nails! HAHAHA! :) Cost me a bomb though, =.=||

Looks so princess-y! <3! But now I wonder how am I going to work with these nails? HAHAHA! ^_^!!!

:) The small food corner for all the peeps in my section. I know they work really hard, so this is the reward for you guys! HAHAHA! It might not be a lot, but I really hope you guys can enjoy this small gesture.

Just had our 尾牙 dinner last Wednesday! Damn fun, damn high, and damn happy! A long list of places before finally settling on Brewerkz, Clarke Quay. ^_^!!!

We cab-ed down since we know we're going to get drunk (LOL!) but still safety comes first! And luck's on our side because the waiting time for us to get a table is short. :)) I guess not many people would like to get drunk when it's only the mid-week.

And this bunch of 大哥们s (excluding Miss Cresent) can really drink! HAHAHA! 3 towers, all GONE! We had the Golden Ale for our 1st tower. A bit sweet, but smooth. Something to loosen up our taste buds for the main courses! *yumilicious!*

Some of the main courses we had for our dinner, and along the way, lots and lots of laughter! :)) And more beer! LOL!

The 2nd tower: xTra IPA! And indeed, IPA is added inside. It's too bitter, yet surprisingly, we managed to finish up the whole tower! I guess 团结就是力量, 1 glass for everyone and we're done! :))) Still, it's not enough for everyone, so the last tower: Wheat beer. Sweeeettttt, I <3! Cheers!!! And this last tower is enough to down some of us. HAHAHA!

Everyone looks quite "well-drank" for the night. Red face! LOL! Especially you. *HAHAHA!*

:) Now, what's life if there's nothing to look forward to everyday? From now on, prepare for some serious get-togethers to fit into your oh-so-busy daily life. ^_^!!!

:) I think this is much nicer that the previous one I did. *HAHAHA!* :))) I seem to be spending more time decorating my photos nowadays. Am considering to get myself a desktop, and install Photoshop so that I can start to create some sweet memories! ^_^!!!

Just some thoughts. It seems like time really do bring people together or further away. Sometimes, I'm just afraid to take the first step, however small it is. Reason being, scared. I've never been lost for words in front of people, but you turn out to be my first. And it's weird, because we used to crap the most unbelievable things. Let's just hope that this doesn't last, and it's back to old times! :)

Anyway, it's a day to be happy about! BONUS!!! HOHOHO! Time to save up for my trip!

I'm back! And you must be wondering why I can blog at this timing. Ain't I supposed to be at work? -_-""

Well, just my luck, falling sick at this time of the year. I mean the weather is so cooling, not much strong sunlight, I should be out and about. But yesterday night, I didn't sleep well at all. The cough is keeping me awake and the nose is blocked till I can smell nothing. *Bleah!*

Anyway, the past 2 days I'm a happy girl! All because of these...............

Met up my BFF last Friday (like finally, it's kind of hard to meet up nowadays), and I made her waited for an hour! -.-"" Last minute discussion with the boss. Anyway, she brought me to The Soup Spoon for our dinner, and it was yummy! I never tried this place before even though I always passed by. So this is another first time for me! ^_^!!!

The set meal includes a sandwich of your choice, a regular bowl of soup (ranges from mushrooms to pumpkin) and a cup of ice-tea. The portion is quite big and very filling since the soup is very thick.

Breaded buttons, in fact it's just mushrooms inside with a little bit of cheese? :) Our side dish.

After dinner, we walked around Bugis street (to help digestion) and I bought a half Maxi Dress with 10 buttons. LOL! I wondered whether I looked short in it, but in the end I still bought it, since it costs me 12 bucks only. HAHAHAHA!

It was still early so we went on to Plaza Singapura to catch a movie, and in the meantime while waiting, we dropped in TCC for a cup of yumilicious drink.

HAHAHAHA! Don't ask me what are those words, I don't know (They are Thai words, though). But here in Singapore, this is Hello Stranger. ^_^!!!

Even before the start of the movie, we (BFF and myself) were already laughing at ourselves. We heard that this movie is really nice from our friends, so thought that we could try it out and see how is it. We know nothing about this movie. And I mean NOTHING. Who is the cast, what is the storyline, and where is the show filmed at. We just based on the title and thought that it is a Hollywood movie. ^_^!!! And guess how we reacted when the show started and we don't understand a single word (unless we read the subtitles). We thought that we went to the wrong movie theater. -.-""

But who cares, the show started, so just watch. I must pre-warned you, you'll be having some serious stomach cramps throughout the whole show. I was laughing like nobody's business, till I think I disturb the people in front of me. HAHAHA! Both leads have very good 默契 that keeps people sitting on the edge of their seats.

Sometimes I do wonder, if really such love stories happen in real life? :)))

Anyway, here's the trailer.......

It's so nice, that the next day I brought Mr. to watch this movie. And I laughed throughout the show again. HAHAHAHA!

:) Had a great Christmas, a fabulous New Year countdown, and a wonderful (and sweet) New Year Day! I can't ask for more to this start of a brand new year. :)))

Wednesday is the bluest day.

And here I was happy about not having serious Monday blues at the start of the week, Wednesday turned out to be a bad day after all.-.-"" I just hate the feeling. It's even worse than feeling sick and still have to go work.

Early morning, I was the wooden block for the "boss". Got "arrowed" till crazy. I spent the day clearing all the "arrows" and in the end I didn't even get to do what I wanted to do. I don't mind helping, but at least be a bit more appreciative. Don't just ordered people around.

And the mood is already at the bottom of the hole. And I was told I had to work on Monday, when I had my plans all out nicely.

What can get even worse than this? Maybe another round of quarrel? In the end, I rushed home for nothing, because Mummy thought I'm not coming home for dinner, and she gave all the food to neighbours. And I totally lost my appetite. So I kept myself in the room. Naturally, the tears came again. :'(

And here I am, hungry in the middle of the night. Wondering whether I can take a day off. I just wanna be alone for the time being.

I still wanna eat my 汤圆!!!!

If only Aiko is here, she will listen to all my sorrows and nagging. And she will keep me warm, sleeping besides me at night with her paws on my face. :))) I missed her. Terribly.

But dinner was FUN! :) hehehe! All thanks to 王爸爸!

And he's really observant. Brought me to dinner at a Japanese restaurant because he thinks I need some hot soup (which I really need, was feeling cold). ^_^!!! Lots of chit-chatting, including choosing his baby's name. HOHO! :)))

Once again, 破费了. Someday it'll be my treat. Don't argue with me. HAHAHAHA!

Bride of the World 2010

Have you ever seen how a beauty pageant is recorded live in a real studio? How many people are involved in creating the whole production? :)))

Well, neither do I until Mr. won tickets to the preview of Bride of the World 2010! *excited!*

:) I would definitely say this pageant is 打开眼界 for me, cause I haven't seen so many beauties at one go before. HAHAHA! And imagine how Mr. is feeling. The eyes are practically glue to the front. *LOL!*

1st category: Cultural costume. :) The ladies are dressed in costume that best represent their country. Very colorful with some wearing some very 夸张 head accessories. I bet they are duper heavy on their head.

As I mentioned, this is not live on TV, but recorded first. Thus, once the first category is over and results are out for the top 15, we had to wait for quite long before they resumed the recording. To get the ladies prepared and dressed for the next round of competition.

And while waiting, we have to entertained ourselves by sitting there, doing nothing. -_-"" Yeah, quite boring and both our stomachs are growling madly. Mr. didn't managed to get a half day off, so I went over to fetch him from work and rushed down straight.

Most of the audiences are delegates from individual countries. Some are family members there to cheer their ladies on. :))) As for the rest, mostly are members from People's Association (PA) so that they can create lots of cheering noise. HAHAHA! And we managed to mix inside with them, so we can get to make lots of noise too. ^_^!!!

The clappers to make lots of noise!!! (^_^!!!) And to save our hands. If not I'm sure the next day, our hands will be super sore. HAHAHAHA!

2nd category: Sport wear. HAHAHA! I was kind of expecting the ladies to wear swim wear out and was disappointed when it turned out to be sports wear. -_-"" Hey! I also know how to appreciate good figures OK? :))) But then, they looked gorgeous with the attire on. A tint of sexiness and gracefulness.

And once it's over, top 5 is reviewed. :)) These top 5 will move on to the last category which is the bridal wear. Hehehehe! Usually the last category is the evening gown, but then this is the Bride of the world, so the last category must be bridal wear. And I must say they looked stunning! hehehehe!

I ♥ the Peru's gown the most!!! :))) Hehehehe! I always like a white gown with some other colors on it. A bit of red or black will be the best. ^_^!!! Hers was a long white gown, with a red ribbon (I'm describing it in very simple words. There are more details to it!)

After the Bridal gown, the last stage is the Question and Answer. Nothing surprising, usual questions you will hear in these beauty pageant. :))) And finally, the moment awaits, the crowning of the Bride of the World 2010. Hehehehe! We were told not to say anything about the results until 24th December. And I intend to keep the winner a secret first. Hehehehe!

So till then, be patient and wait for it to air on TV. And maybe you can spot me in the audience. ^_^!!! HAHAHAHA!

Last Saturday, I went over to Raffles Studio to collect the family photo! :)) Definitely excited about it since it's our first time going to a Studio for a shoot. :)) The photos are great, and is now proudly on display in the living room! ^_^!!!

Waited for Mr. to come over to fetch me (^_^!!!) and because he didn't eat his lunch (all because of work, -_-""), I decided to bring him to.......

HAHAHAHA! I have been telling him how much I enjoyed myself whenever I go into this restaurant. My brother recommended this place to us, and I totally ♥ the food there. :)))) These are only just some dishes that we ordered. There are more, just that we're busy eating and totally forgot about snapping the food. /glutton!

Supposed to be an artistic shot, but turns out to be quite a failure. HAHAHA! Will try to improve on it! ^_^!!!

Anyway, while eating he was complaining about eating in such expensive restaurant. Hehehhe! Usual nagging about spending these unnecessary money. But then I managed to convince him that it's only once a blue moon. ^_^!!! I was enjoying my dinner, but he wasn't that huge a fan of PT. Seems like some of the dishes doesn't suit his taste buds. *bleah!*

Off for some bowling session. Both of us got a bowling tournament this week, so we decided to have a head start first to brush up our skills. And gosh, I totally spoil my reputation there. HAHAHAHA! Even the kids are laughing at me. Can you imagine how ma-lu I am? *blush!*

:)) A long day outside, and thanks to him I was smiling throughout the 2nd half of the day.

SCMS 2010

5th December 2010 marks my first run in the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore. And no, I didn't had a good experience. -_-""" Maybe it's my first and last time joining this run. *bleah!*

Why didn't I enjoy the run? Very simple! Just imagine this crowd.

And it's only a small part of those that is running the 10kM. o.O!!! We had to queue slowly to go up the starting point and we are 10 minutes later than the flag-off time. And no, this is not the worse part. We had to wait an hour before we passed the start point. It was already 0840. The sun is up and strong, running in this condition is even more tedious.

Look at the crowd behind us! Man, this is one huge event. Too many people, too little space to run.

Anyway, once we started the run, it was quite messy. Some of them is not even running (even though it's just the start of the run) so we had to zig-zag here and there to move forward. And the 1st water point is at 3k point, but it was super crowded so I decided to skip it, and move on. Dehydrating like mad running under the super hot sun, and I can't wait for the next water point.

Finally, at 5k point, it was another water point. I managed to get a cup of 100 plus (100 plus never look so delicious to me than at the moment). ^_^!!!!

And, when I was about to take a mouthful of water....BANG! The cup flew off my hand and landed on the floor. =.=|| Someone didn't look where he is running, and knock that cup off my hand. And he totally ignore me and just kept on running. WTH! Can you imagine how much I wanted to chase after him and kick his ass?! *_*!!!

I was just too lazy to go back and squeeze with the others for another cup. So no choice, but to move forward to the next point (which for your information is at the 8k-point *damn far!*) I was literally losing water like no business. *>.<""*

Good thing is that the route was alright (compared to GE and Nike City) because we get to see more buildings and landmarks. But of course, more slope to conquer. And when there's a slope, usually people don't run and just take their time walking, which is alright with me. But then when the Full marathon and half marathon people starts to come in, it was so crowded. And honestly, very dangerous. I heard that there's quite a number of people injured.

"We pay to suffer." HAHAHA! Quite true isn't it?

Right after the run, waiting for to go makan. And replenish the H2O I had lost. :)))

I waited for Mr. to come back from his full marathon. He looked damn shag right after the run, till I almost wanted to call for medical help. LOL! Anyway, poor him because someone told him the wrong directions for the baggage counters. -_-"" So no choice, but to slowly make the way back to F1 pit and I made him sit there while I go collect his bag. (^_^!!! I'm so sweet, HAHAHA!)

I'm proud of him for completing the whole run, and coming back in 1 piece. But I already warned him, no more FM. HAHAHAHA! It's so not good for the legs, especially the knees! And the shag look I see on him, makes me feel..........

And he let me wear his finisher T (for me to 暗爽, =.=||) with my medal.

Ohh, and his friends made it back in time from the run. But they are equally shag, so I went on to collect their bags too. ^_^!!!

:)) This is the last run for Year 2010. I managed to complete 4 runs this year. *YAY!* And I already registered my first 2011 run. HAHAHA!

"Rapunzel, Rapunzel, let down your hair"

:))) This is the golden hair girl I mentioned in the last post. ^_^!!!! Rapunzel!!!

I'm totally envious of her super duper long hair! HAHAHA! Maybe it's a bit too long, but how I wished I had my long hair back now, cause I missed braiding them. *beams!*

It was a impromptu movie. We were just loitering outside the cinema, and happened that this girl caught our attention. So we went ahead, and with 3D effects! ^_^!!! *YAY!* 2nd time! HOHO!

Anyway, I didn't quite know what's the story is about, just that this girl has long hair. Mr. updated me a bit during the advertisement so I have an idea what to expect. :))) And the moment the movie starts, I was smiling away like a kid. It's totally a kids' show, but really, 大人 like us should watch such movies to bring back some kids' memories.

You can expect lots of musical, and some "can't believe it happens" stunts. Well, it's a Disney show so it's only right that there's magic in it. ^_^!!! This isn't a typical prince saves the princess show. The "prince" is actually a bandit that happened to chance upon this tall tower and thus, met the long hair. :))))

And the best part is this guard horse, Maximus. He can't stopped making me laugh like crazy. ^_^!!! It was a bit touching at the end (I cried, -_-""), but lucky it was a happy ending! I just ♥ happy endings. And it's back to reality when you step out of the theater.

But another surprise awaits me. ^_^!! Hehehehe! I was totally caught off guard by it.

Another weekend just passed with the blink of the eye

:) Had a fulfilling weekend! I believe it's well-deserved since it was such a long week of endless work. Kudos to my colleagues, Mr Lin, and of course the Blondie girl! :))) HAHAHA! Shall tell you guys more about them! :)))

Friday evening, we had our section gathering at Feast @ East (Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel) right after work. It was super last minute (I only made the reservations on Wednesday) since Boss requested to have it sooner. And due to tight budget (-_-"" Imagine each person only has less than 30 bucks for a decent buffet?!), we had to settle with Roxy (the card promotion, 1 dines free with 3 paying adult). :)))

The food wasn't that great, just average because I had tasted better than that. And the variety is SO little!!! Really, I had no idea what to eat because a lot of the stuff are raw which I can't take. That leave only those cooked food, which I can count with my 10 fingers. =.=|||

I was told that they are famous for their Laksa and so I went for it on my first round! HAHAHA! ^_^!!! Alright, I can't deny that it was good, and I enjoyed it. Usually the first dish that goes down your stomach will determine whether you will be able to enjoy the rest of the dinner. *HENG!*

I'm someone that is always open to ideas, and willing to accept them if you convinced me. Which is why I consider myself as a not-so-stubborn girl. ^_^!!! (Ain't that a plus point?)

If there's a time when I don't agree with you, it means that I'm not convinced. I don't care what's your reason, I just don't accept it. And the reason is simple, I just don't want to or I'm not ready for to accept. So either you listen to me, or forget about it.

BUT don't force me to do something that I don't want to do at all. When I say no, it means no. Friends who understand me will know that. Unfortunately, some people don't.

BMW World 2010, Singapore

Honestly, I am seriously thinking of buying a car, just for the sake of practicing my driving skills, and at the same time to wake up a bit later every morning to get to work. You know, always sms-ing the colleague to get a ride can be quite maddening. Feeling 很不好意思, yet don't want to spend the $ on cab fares.

And while considering through the available cars, Boss Han invited us to go for the BMW World at Marina Bay Sands (MBS). HAHAHA! I'm not a huge fan of BMW cars, they are just too damn big and heavy. -_-"" But on the other hand, it will be a nice exposure and I haven't been to MBS before. So why not? ^_^!!!

Right at the entrance, we're greeted with a huge "Welcome" signboard. :)))

It's free admission for everyone, and we had pre-registered ourselves online before the show started. :) Each and everyone of us is entitled to a lucky draw (to win a trip to Germany! To visit their factory?) when we registered, and we are given this lanyard where our pass number is shown.

It was quite crowded that day. Probably because it's the 2nd last day of the show, and everyone is coming down to have a look so as not to miss these "hard-to-come-by" car shows. I was greeted with a row of RED cars. Man, you've no idea how high I was. HAHAHA! I mean, the red is so pretty (Yeah, I ♥ red more!) and so seductive! ^_^!!!

Don't ask me the specifications of individual cars. I know nothing about it. HAHAHA! They're too alien to me and the only specs I can understand is the fuel consumption. BMW cars do have high fuel consumption from what I see. -_-"" And the oil prices doesn't go down at all now. *Bleah!*

I'm definitely not those "showgirl" type. Look how rigid I look in these photos. =.=|| HAHAHA! But then, the focus of the pictures is not me. :)))

This is the only car that I think looks cool, and smaller in size (as compared to other BMW cars) and it's hatch-back a.k.a no 屁股! HAHAHA! Making it easier to park! ^_^!!!! If only on display is a red one ~ *giggles!*

:) Finally, I'm feeling better for the past 2 weeks. Back to old Miss Sarah! Cheerful and lively! ^_^!!!!! Maybe it's all the planned activities keeping me occupied, and thus, making me stop thinking too much about things that won't change anymore. No more of grumbling, but moving forward to a brand new day. ^_^!!!! But still, the feeling of losing something dear to you sux. *bleah!*

Met up with my dearies for a Dim Sum session (all because Boss Han is craving for Dim Sum) at 揾到食, somewhere along Geylang. Surprisingly our attendance was GREAT! Lots of catch-up and crapping around the whole table (as usual). And of course, we're just too NOISY! HAHAHA! :)))) Had some of my favorite "must-order" dim sum. And I wasn't disappointed at all HOHO!!!

Strolling through the streets of Geylang right after the fulling dinner. Unfortunately, we didn't see much, except lots of guys staring at the whole bunch of us. Lucky there are some guys around, if not we will definitely get surrounded by them.

By the time we reached the station, it was already 11pm. And it's kind of 不三不四 timing. Too early to go home, and too late to catch a late night movie. So we went on to Clarke quay in hope of finding a place to chill, maybe a glass of wine. HAHAHA! But in the end, we settled at TCC, enjoying our drinks + sinful desserts. *giggles!*

CSI: The Experience :))) YAY!

It's too late to blog, but still I'm not that tired :))) Able to wake up late these few days definitely cheer me up lots! :))) Just that lots of complain from my mummy. “还不起床啊! 太阳都塞到PP了!" And I bet that even at level 14 you can also hear her (Although the highest level is only 12 -__-"")

Had a fruitful long weekend. Friday early afternoon went for the CSI: The Experience Exhibition @ Singapore Science Center. :))) *YAY!* My favorite US drama is CSI and among the 3 series, CSI: New York is the best! ^_^!!! HOHO!

Superbly excited about going to be a Forensic scientist for a day! ^_^!!!

While queuing for our tickets. :) The exhibition itself cost SGD20, but if you buy the package (which includes admission to the Science Center) @ 21SGD, you get to enjoy a discount of 3 bucks from the Passion card. So do bring it along if you have it :)))

Hehehe! You get to try and solve all the 3 cases inside the exhibition, with a crime scene at the beginning. You have to pay attention to the evidence found in the scene and take note of them on the report given to you. Once all the details are taken down, you'll have to enter the different labs where you can analyze all the different evidence. And slowly you will start to piece everything together, and you will find the truth.

To me, I think it's kind of easy to piece them together. Partly because I attended Forensic Science lectures during Uni days. So I have a bit of basic knowledge. Also this exhibition is open to everyone, thus they have to cater to young kids, which is why throughout the whole process, it was well guided. :))) I think it's good to expose the kids to these knowledge, as this is something not taught in school. Who knows, maybe one of them might become a REAL forensic scientist one day? ^_^!!!

Definitely enjoyed myself that day! :))) Hehehehe! ♥!!!! If only there are more of such exhibitions! HAHAHA!

When you can't sleep.....

When you can't get to sleep, lying on the bed staring at the glowing stars, thoughts will just keep on bombarding your mind. So instead of forcing myself to sleep, I chose to put my thoughts down in words. ^_^!!!

I supposed it's only normal for a girl to get moody once a month :) But this month happened to turn out the worst of all :'( You must be thinking it's only the start of the month, why would it be the worse when there's another 28 days to go. To me, things can't get any worse than now, but then life still got to move on.

I must say that I can be quite an independent girl. I used to be able to handle things myself, but I found out recently that even some small decisions I had to ask for opinions. And the only reason I can come out with is that people around me kept on pampering me. :)))

HAHAHA! I must be crazy to complain that there's too much pampering for me. I mean, who wouldn't like to be pampered? Once a while, someone to pamper you can be quite a luxury to enjoy. Especially if the someone meant a lot to you. :)

And as time goes by, you'll crave (Or should I say look forward?) for such pampering and sooner or later, you'll think it's part of what everyone does for you. But these pampering isn't good at all, it makes you lose your sense of self. Your own decision making and most important of all, you will start to depend on others.

When you start to depend on others, you're showing a weaker side of yourself to them. Just recently, the amount of stress and unexpectedness took me away that I broke down in front of a friend. A friend that I knew I shouldn't cry in front of. Because he was not meant to see me cry. Crying (not of happy tears) is something that one should do alone, to enjoy the solitude found in your own world. I like crying alone, because that's when I can cry as loud as I like, to let everything out. Especially when I'm under the blanket. HAHAHA! :)) Crying do clear your mind a bit, sort of like opening up the left side of your brain. So that you can think logically. And when facts start to lay out in front of you, just accept them. Because they are already facts and there's nothing you can do to change it.

I'm someone to work towards what I want in life, but for once, I decided to give up. Not because I can't do it, but because I have learn to be content with what I'm blessed with. Someone who's willing to accept the whole package. Be it good or bad, he's always there to help me through the tough times. I'm learning not to take things for granted anymore and treasure what's in front of me. I don't wanna live my life in regrets.

And I wanna be back to the cheerful, smiley and a happy-go-lucky girl! :))) And of course, to make up for my pillar of support for these years,

Had a busy week at work, till I couldn't find time to go online. -_-"" Almost dropped dead by the time I reached home everyday. And finally when I can have a good night sleep, something came about and upset me. Shall spare you guys the details, but honestly, it was a rough night for me to sleep.

3 hours of sleep before I woke up late for the Great Eastern Run. No choice but to cab down again. Throughout the whole run, the mind is preoccupied with lots of stuff which I can't figure out. I admit I'm at fault but I don't deserved that kind of attitude from you. At least don't sound so sarcastic. And yes I did apologize but apology not accepted.

You kept on saying life's contradicting, but isn't us that caused it to be contradicting? And if I had the chance to turn back time, I would definitely want to go back to the old times. At least I would be more comfortable around you.

A moody girl for the whole day, but then the run clear some of my stress. And tomorrow's another working day.

1 month ago, I asked myself whether I'm ready for the final stage. My answer: No, I'm not. But everyone asked me to just book a date first. And so, I booked the date and from then on, I spent more and more time at BBDC, clearing all my prerequisites.

In the meantime, more practices await for me :)))*Vooom!!!*

I got my driving license!!! On my first try! Hehehe! I'm quite proud of myself because I wasn't that confident about the test at all. Believe me, even though I had revision classes (more than enough, till the driving instructors say I'm crazy! =.=||), I would make some silly mistakes every lesson.-_-""

For the passed week, I get very nervous out of the blue about the test. But I didn't dare to tell anyone because no one (except my instructor, and it's all my own fault =.=||) knows when my TP is. Yesterday night right before I sleep, he knows I'm quite scared so he called and remind me where are my silly mistakes and inform me where are all the blind traps to look out for.

And because he promised not to tell anyone about my TP, so he has to be discrete about posting anything on FB. HAHAHA! :))) And I have to be careful too. HAHAHA! :)))

All thanks to him for his guidance throughout these 3 months! And of course his bet with me. =.=|| The bet that put some pressure on me. If I were to fail my TP, he will resign straight away. o.O!!! What a way to scare the student.

My tester isn't that scary as what I thought. While waiting for the results, I was quite scared because I saw him tap something on his PDA while I was on the road. *Bleah!* But the moment he said "Congrats on becoming a driver", I gave him my mega-watt smile! HAHAHAHA! I even burst out laughing. -_-"" Who wouldn't be happy right? HAHAHA! The last sentence he gave me just make me fly into the air.

"I enjoyed sitting in your car. You know what you're doing. Good job!" ^_^!!!

Although I only spent 3 months at BBDC, I was feeling 舍不得 when I left. This place brought me lots of sweet memories (some scary ones) and I made some good friends! HAHAHA! :))) /giggles! The money I spent to learn driving is all worth it. *YAY!*

PS: Should I go try bike? hehehe! I wanna have a pink scooter! HOHO!
