I just had 3 of my worst exams paper in my WHOLE life. And guess what? 2 more's coming right up.
Just 4 months into school and my stress level has been increasing and increasing even though it's pass the limit. Life in Uni is definitely DIFFERENT from my poly's life. Since the start of school, i have never skip any lectures (though i did skip 2 during the last week of school b4 exam), attended all the tutorials class (except 1 thermo and maths class) and done all my assignments (only after my tutors have went through them), I sort of have the basics of what I need to learn in all my modules. I did complete most of the past-year papers and went through all the tutorials before i went for my exams, but WHY DID I STILL DO SO BADLY?
Honestly, those past-years paper doesn't help much. Most of the questions are repeated and answers can be found in the lecture notes or tutorials. But why is it that when it's my turn to do the exams, all the questions that came out are "new" and are something that i don't know. So what do I do? You can't expect me to leave it blank (NO opinion means NO MARKS), so i just wrote whatever i can write and hand in the answer sheets.
I kept on wondering whether it's because i'm from poly and uni life is really more for JCs' people? People used to tell me that poly students can adapt to uni life faster than JCs' students. I never understand why. I think the similiarities between uni and poly are 1) you get to wear your home clothes, 2) you can skip lectures whenever you like 3) more flexible school hours. So why do all these help us poly students to adapt to uni life fast?
Since i'm already in U, i just hope that everything's going to be good. AND I PROMISE THAT WHEN THE NEXT SEMESTER COME, I'LL WORK TRIPLE-LY HARD!!!!
wish me LUCK because i really need them now. :)
