I did it! *beams!*

1 month ago, I asked myself whether I'm ready for the final stage. My answer: No, I'm not. But everyone asked me to just book a date first. And so, I booked the date and from then on, I spent more and more time at BBDC, clearing all my prerequisites. 

In the meantime, more practices await for me :)))*Vooom!!!*

1 month later......

^_^!!! *Wheee!* *Jumping around!* /giggles!

I got my driving license!!! On my first try! Hehehe! I'm quite proud of myself because I wasn't that confident about the test at all. Believe me, even though I had revision classes (more than enough, till the driving instructors say I'm crazy! =.=||), I would make some silly mistakes every lesson.-_-""

For the passed week, I get very nervous out of the blue about the test. But I didn't dare to tell anyone because no one (except my instructor, and it's all my own fault =.=||) knows when my TP is. Yesterday night right before I sleep, he knows I'm quite scared so he called and remind me where are my silly mistakes and inform me where are all the blind traps to look out for. 

And because he promised not to tell anyone about my TP, so he has to be discrete about posting anything on FB. HAHAHA! :))) And I have to be careful too. HAHAHA! :)))

All thanks to him for his guidance throughout these 3 months! And of course his bet with me. =.=|| The bet that put some pressure on me. If I were to fail my TP, he will resign straight away. o.O!!! What a way to scare the student.

My tester isn't that scary as what I thought. While waiting for the results, I was quite scared because I saw him tap something on his PDA while I was on the road. *Bleah!* But the moment he said "Congrats on becoming a driver", I gave him my mega-watt smile! HAHAHAHA! I even burst out laughing. -_-"" Who wouldn't be happy right? HAHAHA! The last sentence he gave me just make me fly into the air.

"I enjoyed sitting in your car. You know what you're doing. Good job!" ^_^!!!

Although I only spent 3 months at BBDC, I was feeling 舍不得 when I left. This place brought me lots of sweet memories (some scary ones) and I made some good friends! HAHAHA! :))) /giggles! The money I spent to learn driving is all worth it. *YAY!*

PS: Should I go try bike? hehehe! I wanna have a pink scooter! HOHO!

A bet that I intend to WIN!

Last night driving lesson was quite out-of-the-box (maybe till the last part). And I made my first bet with the instructor. ^_^!!!!

I got this really "dao" instructor that I never seen before. When he was walking over, I tell myself, surely I'm not so lucky to get a young instructor. I mean for the last few sessions, I always got the same 2 super-fatherly instructor that tells me lots of stories on their job. HAHAHA! I'm not complaining, just that I need some other chit-chat topics.

And I'm damn lucky, because he walked over and say "149?" Who else but me (since I'm standing beside the car). =.=||| Anyway, I got the key from him and I went over to put my bag in the passenger seat. But, I couldn't open the door, and we looked at each other (standing opposite each other). *weird!* And I realized that he's waiting for me to unlock the door. >.<"" My fault since I have the keys with me. HAHAHA! Super 不好意思, but what to expect since the door is always unlock for me beforehand. ^_^!!!

The first part of the lesson was super quiet. The only sound in the car is my stomach growling, his SIMPLE instructions (Turn left at 12, right turn at 28, Parallel parking in front, etc) and my 1 word answer "Alright". I was quite moody, mainly tired from the long hours at work and now this instructor can't even cheer me up a bit.

After the 1st round of mock test, we went back into the circuit and I can't take the quietness anymore, so I told him:

Me: We didn't do the vertical parking just now. So it's not a complete test. 

Him: Ohh, is it? Never mind, we can do a double vertical parking now. There's double fillet-o-fish burger, we can have double vertical parking. 

Me: =.=||| (Didn't expect this lameness from him)

2nd round of mock test over, and it was still early before the lesson is over, so we went on with parallel parking. :))) I managed to park the car within 30 seconds. HOHO! I was quite 暗爽 because the car is nicely in the slot and was smiling to myself. ^_^!!! My legs are tired so I parked the car and rested for a while. Just when I was about to turn out, he said:

Him: How can we do some corrections?

Me: (Looking around and see what mistakes I had done) What mistakes have I made? Why need to make corrections? 

Him: You didn't make a single mistake for your courses. So how to show you what are the corrections in case you need it during your TP? 

Me: Ohh, so this is considered a praise? HAHAHAHA!

Him: Not really, I'm just bored that I can't talk much for the whole lesson.

Me: =.=||||||| (Totally stunned by him again, so I decided to make a MAJOR mistake and let him talk)

*Hit the kerb!* 

Me: Ohh no! I did something wrong, and it's immediately 10 points gone!

Him: Wah liao, it's so obvious you purposely turn out without reversing first. Don't try to bluff me.

Me: HAHAHAHAHAHA! 

And guess what, he was smiling away! HOHO! :))) We made a bet while waiting for time to pass driving around the circuit. If I get 0 demerit points for my TP, he will have to pay for my 3 meals everyday for the next 1 month. 

HAHAHA! Quite a nice deal, but a bit hard for me though. But who cares, I intend to win this bet. ^_^!!!!

Careless me *_*

:) Had a good laugh right after work.

I was complaining to my "private" instructor that during my previous lesson, the PDA in the car showed my TP date and thus the instructor (who was in the car at that time) knew when I'm having my test. I remember quite vividly that the date doesn't appear on the screen till I went to update my PDL into the school system. -_-""

And while complaining this and that, I "accidentally" say out the date again. *Bleah!* And I didn't even notice until he says (with a cheeky smile) "So you're having your test on ******." 

o.O!!!! OMG! I went frozen (and I meant it, I literally stopped breathing!) and go @#!$!%^&!*!!!! HAHAHA! Of course, I didn't say all those words, just keep on "OMG!", "URGH!", "SHIT!". HAHAHA! And all the while, he just keep on laughing. Kind of evil, but I was laughing at myself too. ^_^!!!

I got my stylus back! Hehehe! So happy now that the stick is hanging back on the phone! HOHO! Thanks to "private" instructor and the person that picked it up and bring it to the counter. ^_^!!!!

Time to catch some sleep! :))) Off to bed, and my mickey mouse! *Nighty night!*

A great monday to start off a great week! :))))

:))) What a day! My first visit to the Bird Park! Yes yes yes, I know I live in Jurong for 23 years and you must be wondering why I haven't visit the park since it's so near. HAHAHA! Reason being I wasn't interested in looking at birds. Especially they can fly which makes me super nervous.

Super convenient! Just take 194 from Boon Lay Bus Interchange to reach right outside the Bird Park! :)))

Imagine walking halfway and suddenly you got "bombed!" *URGH!!! HAHAHAHA! But I was lucky today since I didn't get bombed! :)) Had lots of fun feeding the Lory and the Pelicans. But these birds can be quite noisy when they have a big group coming to you and only one cup of food for them. -_-""

The hungry Lory birds feeding on the cup of honey and a bunch of Pelicans suntanning in the sunny afternoon! ^_^!!!

Anyway the day ended with private driving lesson! :))) *YAY!* I drove myself home all the way from Bugis (of course, I skipped all the expressway roads! HAHAHA!) Appreciate a lot for letting me drive your car home! :)) Ohh, and it's a PINK car! HAHAHAHA! Who wouldn't ♥ it? ^_^!!!

SO many 第一次s :))))

HAHAHAHA! Just came back from driving and have lots to say! ^_^!! First of all, for 2 consecutive days I got my favorite instructor! *YAY!* I'm so used to his coaching style that everytime he's in the car, I'll be able to drive well for that lesson. Ahhh, how I wished he could be my tester! *giggles!* 

Anyway, had a mock test by him today, circuit was alright, parallel parking need to practice more to make it more smooth. :)))) And out on the road, he decides to send me home because he says I didn't sleep much last night (totally surprised by him!) ^_^!!! 

Drive drive drive....he suddenly stunned me again. =.=||

He: Turn left in front to the petrol kiosk. 

Me: HUH? (Looking at the fuel tank) The tank is still quite full leh.

He: I know, I need to go pay PUB bills.

Me: HUH??? (Louder this time round!) I didn't know can go petrol kiosk to pay bills nowadays. Hmmm....

He: (Gave me a -_-"" look) Pay PUB bills means go toilet larh....

Me: OMG! (HAHAHA!) You're my 第一次 again. 

He: WHAT???!!! *giggles!* 

Me: I haven't had a instructor who wants to go toilet during lesson time mah, you're the first. 

^_^!!! LOL! And so he went to pay his bills while I stayed in the car waiting and seriously thinking whether to leave him at the petrol kiosk. But then, on second thoughts, he's such a dearie that I don't wanna get him in trouble. ^_^!!! (I'm an angel isn't it? Hehehehe! Maybe with a devil horn hidden!) 

Back on the road, we started to discuss about 第一次s. And we realized that he has quite a number of 第一次s with me. He is the instructor to bring me out on the road for the first time. He is also the instructor to send me home from class (although I drove the car myself). And now the first instructor to use the toilet during lesson time. HAHAHA! Ohh, he's also the first instructor to bring me out for lunch after lesson. ^_^!!!

If anyone of you decides to learn driving, go for BBDC under school system. It will be more expensive than learning private, but more systematic learning is the key point. And if you got him as your instructor you will be able to learn well and fast, and at the same time have lots of fun! ^_^!!!

Off to bed for another few hours of sleep before work again :)))

It's just too soon......

:)))) I cleared my Stage 3 of driving, but I haven't book my test date! And I just realized that Stage 4 and 5 only takes 3 sessions to clear.

Well, I shall do it sometime this week or maybe next week. Oh, and please don't ask me when my test date is. Hehehe! :)))) Serene told me not to tell anyone when is the test date (it's for good luck!) and I totally agree with her! ^_^!!!

Wait for my good news OK? :))))

HAHAHA! And even my boss gave me advice on driving safely! :)))) I think everyone is kind of scared of having drivers like me on the road. But I still consider myself to be a safe driver. ^_^!!!!

Interesting yesterDay~

I was supposed to blog about my interesting yesterday. But in the end, I was so tired that I can't even finished 1 sentence before I dropped dead on the bed. *LOL!* 

Alright, so I started the day at 7am! (YesH! So damn late!) o.O!!!

Lucky my mum came into my room with the intention of disturbing me because she thought I was on the afternoon shift, which I wasn't! Totally panicked when I saw the sun so high and shinning. First reaction was to make an important phone call. *wahahaha!* Next was to grab my towel and rush to toilet to flatten my hair (messy from sleeping with wet hair the night before!)!!! By the time I'm changed and ready to leave the house, it was already 7.20am! 

Yeah yeah, I know you're thinking how come I can shower, brush up, a bit of eye liner, change and out of house in 20 minutes. LOL! This is called preparation!!! I knew I had high chances of waking up late, so the night before I slept, I put everything nicely on the room sofa first. It's nice to be prepared during the crisis time! *HAHAHAHA!* 

Anyway, I couldn't take the bus down because I will be super duper late. So I grabbed a cab down to XXX's house. And just my luck, I didn't have enough cash on me. So once I was on the cab, I kept looking for the atm clicker (?) but to no avail. (I always thought that ALL cabs have, but I was so wrong). The cab driver told me that he only accept cash. Second round of panic! =.=||| Because I only had 10 bucks on myself. I was praying for the meter to go slow (Hello, in Singapore, that's IMPOSSIBLE!). 

The total cab fare was $12.60 (including of surcharge! Too expensive!!!). I didn't have enough coins for the cab fare, and I think the uncle knew. HAHAHA! Super PS, but he was a super nice guy. He said it's alright, 10 bucks will do. HAHA! First time I got a discount on the cab fare. ^_^!!! And I got lost finding XXX's house. Usually, I walked from the other direction, this time round I came from the other side. HAHAHA! A bit 路痴, but lucky still managed to find him. 

Left around 7.40am (not too bad, wasn't that late), and the stunning thing is I reached office before 8am. I was like "WTH!!!". Traffic was so smooth (practically no brake at all once on the expressway) that we only took 20 minutes to reach. >.<""""

Was quite moody, but still work's waiting for me. I can't remember why I didn't grab any breakfast (was super busy the whole morning right after passdown!) and all the way till after Yoga lesson, my stomach was growling like mad. 

But I got small treats from my colleagues. Wasabi snacks from P.M (in another department) + a super big banana from Senior! ^_^!! These small treats definitely cheer me up lots! And driving lesson was super fun, because my instructor says it's only fun if there's music while driving. So I blasted my OMNIA 2 and doing my vertical parking at the same time. LOL! ^_^!!!

Seat belts? Hand-brake? NO?!

:) Driving lessons are getting more and more interesting. Especially when I'm only concentrating on the road and steering the wheel, and totally forgot about the basic stuff. =.=|||

1st mistake of the day. We just switched over our seats (Me taking over the driver seat) and while the instructor is busy keying stuff into his computer, I adjusted the mirrors and seat. I was very satisfied with everything, and ready to go! Took off the hazard lights, get into the correct gear, and step on the accelerator! BUT, the car doesn't move! o.O!!! And realized that the hand-brake is still on >.<"" And the 1st thing that came to my mind was: I really didn't see the hand brake when adjusting the gear. WHY? Because my seat was so in front that it block the hand brake. HAHAHA! Crap reason, but it makes my instructor laugh so loud! -.-||  

2nd mistake of the day: Seat belts! HAHAHA! Yes, I know you are wondering seat belts also can forget?!! Well, I did and it was quite funny. I had already drove like 5 minutes and suddenly this "ding-ding" sound comes about. I didn't know what is it and ask my instructor.

Me: Ehh, what happened? Did I accidentally press something wrongly?

Him: No, you didn't. (Pause) Maybe it's because you forgot about your seat belt?

Me: *STUNNED!!!* Ohh DEAR! Should I stop at the side to wear my seat belt?

Him: No need larh, this is small case! I helped you to control the steering wheel, you just keep your feet on the accelerator and wear your seat belt.

Me: Laughing away trying to wear my seat belt. HAHAHA! Damn funny, even though it was a serious mistake!

Instructor was extremely patient, telling me where are the demerit points come about. HAHAHA! I think he was trying to scare me but it was all for good cause. ^_^!!! I was a moody Sarah since morning at work, but reached home with a smile on the face. Maybe driving really can cheer me up. :))))

Yet another 第一次

YAY! :) And this piece of paper cost me 25 bucks! And I've to wrap it up myself in case I accidentally tear it. =.=||| Isn't it too good money to make?!!!!

Anyway, I was extremely nervous for the first driving lesson out on the road! I'm quite a blur queen, and multi-tasking for me is only up to 3 things at the most. So imagine, you have to look left, right, front and back, and at the same control all the accelerator + brakes (that's like a dozen things!), I think I'll panicked easily! >.<""

Luckily, I happened to have this really friendly instructor (who is also very chatty like ME! That's another thing to add to the multi-task plan) who guides me throughout the whole lesson (it's his job anyway! ^_^). HAHA! Totally enjoyed his company because unlike other instructors (who always asked me "Any Questions?"), we can chit-chat a lot more other things (like buying soccer bets? ^_^). It kind of make me more relaxed driving. ^_^!!!    

I was planning to go for lessons at least 4 times a week, but then, I realized that 3 times is already too tiring (especially during weekdays, straight after work!). Got to start to plan the schedule better, if not I'll be late every time! At the rate I'm going, soon enough I'll be known as the Late Queen! *dots!*

Yeah!~ :) :) :) I passed my Final theory test, so now I cant just concentrate on my practical lessons! ^_^!!! Don't think I'll be taking my practical test anytime soon though, heex!~

Finally, I managed to pass the Advanced theory evaluation! (after 2 tries, btw) *OMG!*

First try:

I did too fast and just submit the test, failed by 1 question (44/50) *urgh!* Honestly, I think some of the options given are correct and I really don't what to choose. I remember this question super clearly (most probably is this question that makes me failed!)

Q: Children are considered a potential hazard when

1) (can't remember this option)
2) Playing by the side of the road
3) Suddenly kicked a ball out onto the road

I answered 2 because my mum always tell me not to play along the side of the road. But I got this strong feeling that I got this question wrong. So, most probably the answer is 3? Aiyo! But when got children suddenly kicked the ball onto a road one?....Anyway, can't do anything except come back for the second evaluation.

So I hurry go book another slot, and UNFORTUNATELY, the next session is full!!! >.<"" I can only get a slot in 1.5 hours time. What to do? I didn't want to come back again (since I've work tomorrow) and waited in the room for time to pass. But I made full use of the time, by playing game in my lappy! :) :) :) (Yupz, I didn't revise my theory book because I don't know what to read through...)

Yeah! This time round I got myself a 46/50 (I have no idea which are the questions that I have gotten it wrong) and happily went home!~

My favorite book nowadays: Advanced theory of driving. *_*

I have been reading through and trying to understand some of the terms which I really have no idea what it is. Maybe it's because I haven't went through any practical lessons or because I'm totally ignorant of how a manual car works. ^_^!!! Everyday went for practice lessons just to make sure I can pass my theory 1 time so that I can concentrate on the practical lessons :) :) :)

I just realized that it's better to book all the practical slots at one go because the earliest slot for my first lesson is end of July! *OMG!* It is because there's too many people learning or because there isn't enough instructions? Either way the driving center is always packed with people. I mean learning to drive is NOT cheap (at all!!!) but still, many people are learning. No idea why...since a car doesn't cost cheap either.

Anyway, wish me luck!~ ^_^!! Gonna need it a lot~~

Step by step, I'm getting closer to my "Miss Success" title. Thank you for your help in explaining all the terms! ^_^!!!

Just started on my driving theory lessons. OMG! I thought basic should be quite easy but then during practicing I failed 2 out of 3 booklets. Yeah, don't laugh ok?! Hmmm I supposed I didnt read my book properly or it's because the whole room is full of foreign workers! Hahaha! :) I'm going to try my luck again this coming Thursday. Hopefully this time round, there isn't much people around because it can get really cramped!

Anyway, it's going to be a super long journey for me and I don't really looked forward. I can only prayed hard I don't get myself in trouble. Especially during driving on the road. Don't worry guys, I'll inform you guys beforehand to look out for me if I'm on the road. Just stay clear and you all should be fine ^_^
