I'm suddenly hooked onto this book! ^_^!!! Haha!~ Bought it during my KL trip but didnt managed to read much until recently and I'm totally hooked onto it! The first part might be a bit of boring, but once u reached the climax, wow! you will hold on to it and not let go! ^^
It makes me want to go read up on those Italian artists' works just to understand more on what each painting means. But then, I've never been in history work so I think it's kind of hard to get myself started! *giggles!* :)
Anyway, I'm gonna get the movie soon to see whether there's any difference in storyline between both the book and the movie. *Whee!* Hopefully there isn't much difference! :) :) :) And there's Tom Hanks in it, so it's definitely a plus plus! ^_^!!! And I heard that the main female lead, Ayelet Zurer is super beautiful! :)
You guys should try out this book! ^_^!!!

2 days after camp and I'm still shag!~ But it's all worth it because I enjoyed myself and also get to spend some quality time with my uni dearies! :) :) :) It's great sharing a room with them and squeezing ourselves on the bed, taking turns showering and waking up seeing each others' blur blur look. Getting to know new friends along the way makes the camp all the more meaningful!~
Though it's a 5 days 4 nights camp, I felt that I slept more than any camps that I have been. Maybe I'm joining this camp as a programmer instead of a participant that's why I get to have more time to sleep :)
Picture says a thousand words. Enjoyed!~
In order to save time, we decided to change together in one toilet so we chose the handicapped toilet because it's bigger :) :) :) *giggles!*
I was appointed the Runner for the OG "Todaro" and get to run around the school with them on a Amazing Race. These are the stations that they are supposed to complete a task!~
Uni dearies are the BEST!~ Try a lot of times to get everyone into the pictures, some successful some failed *Lol!*
I was totally taken off guard by them! :) :) :) Sweet 22nd Birthday because of them! *Thank YoU!*
Don't you think they look beautiful and handsome? :) :) :)
**A simple word from you brighten up my day to the fullest!~**

2nd KL Trip Part 3 - Food & Shopping! :) :) :)
Guess what? This entry's gonna be on FOOD!~ :) :) :) Isn't food everyone's favorite? *Yum YUM!* Actually, there wasn't much on the food, because all the food there are great! Cheap and NICE! :) :) :) Have been busy eating, so limited pictures *heeX!*
After checking in, we're all quite hungry, so hurried to Pavilion to have our so-called lunch. We had their Teppanyaki food. Very simple meal consisting of lots of veggies (as you can see) and one main course. I wouldn't recommended this for non-veggie eater as the green stuff portion is super big (LOLx!). One person costs around RM15-20.
Express Teppanyaki is located in Pavilion KL level B1 Food Republic.
I decided to go there to look for Kinokuniya Bookstore (Get bored at night, so need a book to keep me entertained!) and happened to pass by Manhattan. So in we go, sat down and decide to eat the Seafood Patter for 2! I just loved the chispy fish, but someone else prefer the cheesy prawns. The seafood were fresh and hot. But I feel that the calamari rings are not as delicious as what I had in Singapore. Abit too rubbery for me >.<" The butter rice is so-so because I didnt managed to taste the so-called butter rice. Nevertheless, we enjoyed the meal and left with a full stomach! :) :) :) *Fully-charged to shop till dead!*
Just some random pics on the food eaten, I can assure you guys that I definitely eat more than all this! *giggles!* One of the more famous food street in KL is Jalan Alor (just in front of our hotel, 3 minutes walk away). This is a must-go place when in KL because it's all road-side food like grilled string rays (the chilli that comes with it can get easily HOOKED!), BBQ chicken wings, fried oysters. De-li-cioooooooouss!~
Shopping in KL is good if you're there during their Mega Malaysia Sales. Unfortunately, I didnt managed to buy anything (sales only start on the day I'm leaving, *urgh!*). But I managed to get some new clothes and a new tie for my dad! ^_^!! I think it's cool and will look great on him! *wahahahaha!*
**Did I mention that Suria KLCC is just below the Twin Towers?**
While walking back to our hotel, saw this superby view of the towers with the bridge connecting them together with Mandrian Oriental (Besides Marina Square in Singapore) :) Pretty isn't it?

2nd KL Trip Part 2 - Radius International Hotel
Yes! I'm back with more stuff on my KL trip. :) :) :) This time it's gonna be on our stay at the hotel!
As our trip is longer this time round, we decide to go for a cheaper rate hotel but the location is still somewhere near Bukit Bintang (we're more familiar with the map there). First on our list is Radius International Hotel! (From HolidayCity.com search engine) After reading through the reviews, I realised that the hotel looks good enough to stay and decide to book through their website.
We got their promotional package deal. For 1 night, we'll be charged for RM170 for a Superior room (twin bed) with the necessary facilities. Buffet breakfast and tax & service charge are also included in. This is considered cheaper than Royale Bintang as the last trip costs us RM218 per night.
On the day of check-in, we were told that the Superior rooms are already out and we're given the Premier Room (King size bed!!!) instead. Initially, we were quite excited because premier rooms are usually more expensive because of the better facilities and it's at a higher level of the hotel. But when we entered the room, it wasn't up to our expectations. The room is not different from a normal Superior room! We're kind of disappointed but lucky the room is clean and tidy and the view is GREAT!~~ :)
It's so comfortable that I slept throughout the whole night (hugging my Mr Bean!) **Don't laugh at my sleeping face (I know I look like a pig ^@^)!!!**
View of the hotel from outside :)
The swimming pool (water's so inviting!!!) :)
View of the KL Tower from our Hotel room
All lights on and sparking in the night! :) *Beautiful!*

The breakfast at the hotel was ok (but personally I still prefer Royale Bintang's) because the variety was quite limited. Simple meal of eggs, puffs and Asian Delights (Nasi Lemak, Fried Rice) and western delights (pancakes, cereal).
Looking very sleepy! Drinking a cup of tea to wake myself up!~ :) :) :)
The location of the hotel is nearer to Pavilion KL and also the KLCC. Throughout the stay, we walked around KL instead of taking their public transport. It's all within walking distance and the weather wasn't that hot, so we decide to save on our transportation fee :) :) :)
Overall, the hotel services are good enough and I think the rates are cheap enough for a short getaway in KL.

2nd KL Trip Part 1 - Tiger Airways to KL!~
YesH! Finally the long awaited 2nd trip to KL, Malaysia! :) :) :) This time round, we decided to take flight down instead of taking the coach there.
We booked our tickets from Tiger Airways because of their anniversary promotion. Return tickets including airport tax and services costs me SGD50. As compared to the coach services, this is definitely cheaper and you'll be able to reach your destination faster. :) :) :) And I haven't took any plane for a long time and missed the feeling of flying high up in the sky!~ ^_^~~~
I have no idea is the world getting smaller or just that the pilot took a shortcut. I reached KL in around 30 minutes from take-off which is (I mean) super fast. I remember the last time I went Japan and transit in KL, the trip took me around 45 minutes. The plane just leveled for 10 minutes and you will be able to hear the pilot's announcement "Cabin crew prepare for landing" and the air stewardess will hurry and push the trolley back.
Anyway, the flight is from Singapore Changi Airport Budget Terminal to KL International Airport (KLIA) Budget Terminal (LCC). Both Budget Terminals have duty-free shops once you passed the custom and you'll be able to shop for awhile while waiting for your flight. However, the shops are limited as compared to Singapore's T1, T2 and T3.
The bad thing about taking air transport to KL is that you've to travel all the way down to the airport (to and fr0) and this is quite troublesome if you're having a big baggage. You also have to include the transportation cost from the airport to the hotel when you reached KL.The cost of taking taxi from the LCC to our hotel is RM61.60 (that's around SGD25.45) and the whole journey takes around 1.5 hours (The airport is super far from the city!>.<"!) When you're going back to the airport, the taxi you take is different thus, the rate is also different. It will cost you RM70 if you're going to the KLIA, but RM75 if you're going to the LCC (Budget Terminal is further away). The difference in the rates is because the taxi you took from the city is not allowed to take any passengers from the airport back to the city. Passengers are only allowed to take cabs that are under the company registered with the airport.
So overall, the return trip (air tickets + cab fares) cost me around SGD78 which is still considered a bit cheaper than the coach services.
Hope you have enjoyed your 1st flight! *LOL!*

Back in Singapore :) *miss my bed!*
Just came back from my 4D3N KL trip! :) Lots to talk about but gotta need to catch my breath first because these 4 days quite hectic for me. Walked a lot instead of taking public transport (help save the earth and save some transportation fee too :) :) :) ) and didn't get much sleep at night too (kind of noisy from other rooms o.O).
Anyway, beware of H1N1 nowadays. It seems to be getting more serious now :( Wear a mask if you're feeling unwell. You'll get used to having your mouth and nose covered and you'll look kinda cute with the mask. Just like me!~ *heex!*
Come back for more on my KL trip!~

2 times and I passed!~ LOL
Finally, I managed to pass the Advanced theory evaluation! (after 2 tries, btw) *OMG!*
First try:
I did too fast and just submit the test, failed by 1 question (44/50) *urgh!* Honestly, I think some of the options given are correct and I really don't what to choose. I remember this question super clearly (most probably is this question that makes me failed!)
Q: Children are considered a potential hazard when
1) (can't remember this option)
2) Playing by the side of the road
3) Suddenly kicked a ball out onto the road
I answered 2 because my mum always tell me not to play along the side of the road. But I got this strong feeling that I got this question wrong. So, most probably the answer is 3? Aiyo! But when got children suddenly kicked the ball onto a road one?....Anyway, can't do anything except come back for the second evaluation.
So I hurry go book another slot, and UNFORTUNATELY, the next session is full!!! >.<"" I can only get a slot in 1.5 hours time. What to do? I didn't want to come back again (since I've work tomorrow) and waited in the room for time to pass. But I made full use of the time, by playing game in my lappy! :) :) :) (Yupz, I didn't revise my theory book because I don't know what to read through...)
Nervous!~~Nervous!~~Nervous!~~
Yeah! This time round I got myself a 46/50 (I have no idea which are the questions that I have gotten it wrong) and happily went home!~
Waiting for my test date to come~~~

You are not alone
I super like this song (thanks to Shi Enn) and I think the lyrics is very meaningful.
Enjoy!~ :) :) :)
Enjoy!~ :) :) :)
Another day has gone
I'm still all alone
How could this be
You're not here with me
You never said goodbye
Someone tell me why
Did you have to go
And leave my world so cold
Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
But you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
But you are not alone
'Lone, 'lone
Why, 'lone
Just the other night
I thought I heard you cry
Asking me to come
And hold you in my arms
I can hear your prayers
Your burdens I will bear
But first I need your hand
Then forever can begin
Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
For you are not alone
For I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
For you are not alone
Whisper three words and I'll come runnin'
And girl you know that I'll be there
I'll be there
You are not alone

My favorite book nowadays: Advanced theory of driving. *_*
I have been reading through and trying to understand some of the terms which I really have no idea what it is. Maybe it's because I haven't went through any practical lessons or because I'm totally ignorant of how a manual car works. ^_^!!! Everyday went for practice lessons just to make sure I can pass my theory 1 time so that I can concentrate on the practical lessons :) :) :)
I just realized that it's better to book all the practical slots at one go because the earliest slot for my first lesson is end of July! *OMG!* It is because there's too many people learning or because there isn't enough instructions? Either way the driving center is always packed with people. I mean learning to drive is NOT cheap (at all!!!) but still, many people are learning. No idea why...since a car doesn't cost cheap either.
Anyway, wish me luck!~ ^_^!! Gonna need it a lot~~
Step by step, I'm getting closer to my "Miss Success" title. Thank you for your help in explaining all the terms! ^_^!!!

WOW!~~~
Early in the morning happen to see this news article and I was amazed by this "old man" (is 61 years old considered old? ^_^)
He's the first recipient of a Medal For Life award for having donated 217 times blood. *OMG!* Seriously, that's a lot of times!~ If you do some simple mental calculations, in 1 year you'll be able to donate 4 times (every 3 months), so for 217 times, you will required 54.25 years. (WOW!!!) If I were to start now, I will only be able to donate 217 times when I'm 76 years old! >.<"" I don't even know whether I'll still be able to walk on my own when I'm that old.
I believe he started donating blood when he's in army, so that's why by the age of 61, he's able to donate blood for so many times. That's really an achievement for someone who continues (without fail) to donate every year. And I can assure everyone that donating blood is not going to cause harm to your health. You can take it as a health screening and saving lives at the same time. 一举两得!!!! (kill 2 birds with one stone?)
:) Anyway, it's more than 3 months since my last blood donation, so I'm sort of eligible for my 2nd blood donation. Initially I wanted to go during my birthday (which makes it extra meaningful) but I'll be in the camp so don't think I'll be able to make time out for it. So, I'm still looking for a day where I can go down to HSA and make an appointment with the nurses there. :) :) :)
Anyone interested to join me there? :) :) :) *heex!*

Wah!~ Just one word to describe the last few weeks! !!!!BUSY!!!! ^_^
Monday to Friday: Working in ICES, rushing reports, playing Theme hospital (LOL!)
Saturday: Tuition & Japanese Language Class
Sunday: CoE Freshmen Orientation Skit Meeting
Everyday is spent to the fullest, though it's super tiring but very fulfilling as I can do all the stuff that I like and enjoy. I seem to become a better person, always thinking twice before making the final choice. Because I don't want make a wrong choice again. But I'm really happy now because I have my friends around me always cheering me up and supporting me.
IA going to end tomorrow! *sob!* It's really been an enjoyable 6 months, and time really flies! :) Lucky, some of you are going to extend so that I wont be so bored alone. *wheee!*
Things to look forward:

But I'm really happy now because I have my friends around me always cheering me up and supporting me.
IA going to end tomorrow! *sob!* It's really been an enjoyable 6 months, and time really flies! :) Lucky, some of you are going to extend so that I wont be so bored alone. *wheee!*
Things to look forward:
- KL Trip
- IA Chalet
- MSE FOC Camp
- My Birthday! (LOL! ^_^!!!)

Do you know that everyday 12 people die from cancer? Out of these 12, 2 are kids.
AND....
Do you know that 24 people are diagnosed with cancer everyday?
Yes, this is the reality of the world. No one can predict what will happen to yourself the next minute or tomorrow. We all know that the cost of the treatment is not cheap at all. For every 6-months, one will need at least 16K to undergo all the necessary treatments. For an average family, if the monthly income is around 1K, they wont be able to afford the treatment at all.
What can we do to help them?
DONATE! I don't ask you to donate millions of dollars at one go. All I'm asking is just donating a small amount of $38 per month. That is equivalent to $1.26 daily. I'm sure everyone is able to do that. If you can afford to watch a movie every week, then I'm sure you are able to donate this $1.26 daily.
A little kindness goes a long way. (^_^)
So, what are you waiting for? Do it today! :) :) :)

Deeply touched :)
I was reading the Strait Times online when I chance upon this article "Teen's organs save 8".
I was deeply touched by what the family had done. It is true that to make such a decision is not easy and it takes courage to do that. One has to think, losing someone so dear to you is not something you can forget in 1 day, 10 years down the road or maybe forever.
But, come to think of it, would you be kind enough to others and not let them go through the hurt and sense of lost that you're experiencing now? I believe some will but many won't. Although we are living in a 21st century, everyone's more open-minded to different ways of life, many still think that we come to this world as a whole, we should also leave as one whole. Yes, I agree to a certain extent that it's only right to come and leave as one whole being. However, if I do get to help anyone, be it a small kid or an old lady, I'll definitely helped them. By giving them something that I don't need it anymore (since I'm already dead), and grant them years to live on, I think it's something not everyone can do it.
I think it's a good thing to donate some part of you to others because once you're gone, your family and loved ones will miss you so much. But they can find some 安慰 that some part of you is still living in this world.
Life's short (very short in fact!), so treasure your loved ones, friends and your neighbors (LOL)! Spend more time with them, give them a hug (or even a KISS!) and tell them that they are always in your heart.

It doesn't take much energy to tell someone "I love you", you just need to say it from your heart and that's all it takes to brighten someone's day up! :) :) :)
So, have you brighten someone's day up yet? ^_^!!!

Happy Mother's Day! :) :) :)
It's the 1st Sunday of the month...so...that means it's MOTHER'S DAY! :) :) :)
hehe! Yeah! The most important and dearest person in our lives is our mummy (of course, we can't forget about our dad ^_^). She's the one that has to carry us in her tummy for 9 months, go through the pain of bringing us to this world and that's not the end of it. She continues to look after our daily needs, making sure we got food in our stomach, clothes to wear and have a proper education. Even after we're grown-up, she will still continue to nag at us, even though it's sometimes irritating, we know that it's all for our own good.
We might quarrel over small things, fight over tiny miny stuff, but our bond is always there. Because you're my mum and I'm your dearest daughter. For that, I'm truely happy that I got you as my mum.
Mother's day falls on every year and every year we just had a meal together as a family. Though it's simple, but deep down it means alot to all of us, watching you smile when each of us give you a chicken dumbstick to eat. It's our way of showing you our love for you.

I got myself allocated to Dr Gan for my Final Year Project (FYP)!!! *Wheee!* I was kind of worried cause I only approached one professor and didn't have any back-up plans. One thing settled, another comes along, IA final report. :( :( :( I have been trying to write at least 3 pages a day but so far didn't have much luck at all! I supposed I need some stress to push me forward if not I'll just laze around and do slowly. ~~URGH!!!~~
Hopefully I can finish all my logbooks (both NTU and ICES) and final report in time! :) After that, I'm going to enjoy life for awhile before starting on my FYP and the new academic year!
Looking forward to the CoE skit and MSE FOC camp in July!!! *wheee!*

I took the whole Sunday clearing/tidying up my room, from washing of bedsheets to clearing my dolls and throwing away old clothes! What a hectic day for me! :( Though it's tiring but now I felt much better with lesser stuff in my room, so more space for me to walk and laze around! :) :) :)
Happen to dig out all the handphone boxes and realised that I'm a super big fan of SAMSUNG! *wheee!* Honestly, who wouldn't like Samsung phones? I mean their design is cool and stylish. Some suitable for guys and some really is meant for ladies to use! :) heex!
All necessary functions are incooperated inside the phone. Camera, Bluetooth, etc. One thing Samsung should really consider is Wifi! I have been trying to find a phone with Wifi functions but currently there's only Samsung Omnia and Samsung Innov8, but I don't really need such a good (and also expensive) phone yet!
So I stick with my Samsung F480 (and it's PINK!!!) What's so good about this phone? 1st of all, it's slim! So you can save some space in your bag *LOL!*!! And the camera is 5 megapixel with face detection and Smile shots! Haha! If you love to take pictures but don't always carry a camera around, this phone is for you! :) :) :)
