It's just too soon......

:)))) I cleared my Stage 3 of driving, but I haven't book my test date! And I just realized that Stage 4 and 5 only takes 3 sessions to clear.

Well, I shall do it sometime this week or maybe next week. Oh, and please don't ask me when my test date is. Hehehe! :)))) Serene told me not to tell anyone when is the test date (it's for good luck!) and I totally agree with her! ^_^!!!

Wait for my good news OK? :))))

HAHAHA! And even my boss gave me advice on driving safely! :)))) I think everyone is kind of scared of having drivers like me on the road. But I still consider myself to be a safe driver. ^_^!!!!

Interesting yesterDay~

I was supposed to blog about my interesting yesterday. But in the end, I was so tired that I can't even finished 1 sentence before I dropped dead on the bed. *LOL!* 

Alright, so I started the day at 7am! (YesH! So damn late!) o.O!!!

Lucky my mum came into my room with the intention of disturbing me because she thought I was on the afternoon shift, which I wasn't! Totally panicked when I saw the sun so high and shinning. First reaction was to make an important phone call. *wahahaha!* Next was to grab my towel and rush to toilet to flatten my hair (messy from sleeping with wet hair the night before!)!!! By the time I'm changed and ready to leave the house, it was already 7.20am! 

Yeah yeah, I know you're thinking how come I can shower, brush up, a bit of eye liner, change and out of house in 20 minutes. LOL! This is called preparation!!! I knew I had high chances of waking up late, so the night before I slept, I put everything nicely on the room sofa first. It's nice to be prepared during the crisis time! *HAHAHAHA!* 

Anyway, I couldn't take the bus down because I will be super duper late. So I grabbed a cab down to XXX's house. And just my luck, I didn't have enough cash on me. So once I was on the cab, I kept looking for the atm clicker (?) but to no avail. (I always thought that ALL cabs have, but I was so wrong). The cab driver told me that he only accept cash. Second round of panic! =.=||| Because I only had 10 bucks on myself. I was praying for the meter to go slow (Hello, in Singapore, that's IMPOSSIBLE!). 

The total cab fare was $12.60 (including of surcharge! Too expensive!!!). I didn't have enough coins for the cab fare, and I think the uncle knew. HAHAHA! Super PS, but he was a super nice guy. He said it's alright, 10 bucks will do. HAHA! First time I got a discount on the cab fare. ^_^!!! And I got lost finding XXX's house. Usually, I walked from the other direction, this time round I came from the other side. HAHAHA! A bit 路痴, but lucky still managed to find him. 

Left around 7.40am (not too bad, wasn't that late), and the stunning thing is I reached office before 8am. I was like "WTH!!!". Traffic was so smooth (practically no brake at all once on the expressway) that we only took 20 minutes to reach. >.<""""

Was quite moody, but still work's waiting for me. I can't remember why I didn't grab any breakfast (was super busy the whole morning right after passdown!) and all the way till after Yoga lesson, my stomach was growling like mad. 

But I got small treats from my colleagues. Wasabi snacks from P.M (in another department) + a super big banana from Senior! ^_^!! These small treats definitely cheer me up lots! And driving lesson was super fun, because my instructor says it's only fun if there's music while driving. So I blasted my OMNIA 2 and doing my vertical parking at the same time. LOL! ^_^!!!

A thought that went throught my mind ..........

Just a random chit-chat over dinner with my colleague, and thoughts of having a baby and starting a family flooded through my head.

How does one define being ready to start a family? Having enough savings? Or because age is catching up on you? Or it's just the natural thing to do when you are married and starting a family is 迟早的事? To me, none of the above reasons are enough to qualify you as being ready. Yes, I might not be someone qualified to judge anyone. But I definitely want my baby to come to this world because he/she is the fruit of my love.

It might sound old-fashioned, but think of it this way: When you plan to have a baby, don't think of the money involve in raising him/her. An old saying: 谈钱伤感情, it applies to this too. Your parents brought you up till now isn't it? If they can do it, why not you? A baby has the most sensitive feeling, they are able to feel the love surrounding them. Similarly, they can also feel the negative feelings easily. A baby is someone for you to put your whole heart into it, to adore, to 疼, to see him/her grow slowly day by day.

The best should be given to the baby, and this means your total love. If you can't do this simple thing, don't think about starting a family, will ya?

Hehehehe! I enjoyed playing with kids, and am considering when I retired I want to become full-time nanny (Maybe a bit too early to think about retirement, right? ^_^!!!) My cousins' daughter! *She's such a dollie!* 

But one thing I'm definitely sure about, I will ♥ my baby more than myself. :))))

Caught by yet another surprise

Sometimes, a kind little gesture definitely cheers one up. And I'm lucky to have him as my friend. HAHAHA!

Who would have expected this from him? Well, definitely not me, that's why I was caught by surprise. Especially when I was already half dead in the cab, and was super awake when I saw this post.  HAHAHA! 

I consider myself a very lucky girl because friends will call and ask whether everything's alright at work. Even my driving instructor sent me a message through FB to ask. o.O!!! Totally unexpected! HAHAHA!

Am a happy girl now :)

Part 2 of a short weekend

Actually, it wasn't a short weekend. More of a "too long" weekend for me. Initially, I thought I will be having 3 days off (Friday for Convocation and the weekend) but Senior reminded me that I'm off on Monday due to Swing shift duty. :)))

Anyway, I decided to try my luck at HSA (Health Science Authority, in case you've no idea) for my blood donation. I have been having low Fe content (no idea why, maybe I need to feed on more Fe stuff) and got rejected a few times. I brought my BFF along (it's her first time there) to see whether her veins are big enough for the SUPER DUPER big needle. Unfortunately, she didn't manage to make it. But I was!!! My Fe passed marginally, HAHAHA! It's like FINALLY lorh, didn't make a wasted trip down.

Got this new vanilla flavored Fe pills. I was super excited about it. HAHAHA! I was expecting it to taste nice (nicer than the previous one). BUT! No it wasn't that vanilla-ish at all! DISAPPOINTED!

:) At least the packaging looked more appealing than the previous one. And the pills is dark brown in color, which only make sense since it's Fe pills. Right? ^_^!!!

HAHAHA! I took some time to recover before hoping down to the KOI's bubble tea at Chinatown and having my lunch there! :)) *YUMS!* Next stop is to Orchard for some secret shopping. And please, don't ask me what I bought, because I will only say it 3 months later if the results are good! ^^ WaHAHAHAHA!

In just a short weekend......

I completed tons of stuff which does NOT include tidying up my room, clearing my cupboard, and preparing the guest book for my colleague. HAHAHA! I totally have no idea where did all my time went to. 4 long days of break from work is gone in a blink of the eye. I shall try to summarize the 4 days event into a single post (which I think it's quite hard!).

I took a day leave to prepare myself for my Convocation Ceremony. :)))) And I decided to make full use of my time, so I booked the 1st session of driving class and straight after that is the make-up appointment. I didn't know make-up can take so long and I was extremely late. o.O!!! Lucky the dearies helped to dress me up and I registered in time for the ceremony. HAHAHA!

The 2 guest of honors to witness my graduation! :) BFF + Mummy! ♥

It is you guys that brought me tons of laughter and joys to make my University life so fulfilling! :) :) :)

My honey! :) First set my eyes on her on my 1st lab class. She got the same surname and blood group as me. I wonder is she my long-lost sister? ^_^!!!

This ceremony does not mark the end of school life. It serves to remind me that I am now a working adult who has responsibilities to take care of. And I welcome my working life with open arms. ^_^!!! がんばって!!!

It's the studio photo shoot for the dearies today at the Universal Bridal Studio. :)))) Honestly, I have no idea it is so tiring to take a studio photo shoot. The weird weird pose the photographer want us to pose is kind of difficult to follow. HAHAHA! Or maybe it's because I'm not flexible enough. Anyway, shall post the photos when they are ready! :))))

Since everyone are present, so we might as well have a post-graduation activity. Off we go to Sunset Grill (a super duper wu-lu place!) and had our dinner! *YUMS!*

After dinner was up Mount Faber for some night sky viewing. In the end we spent most of the time inside the toilet o.O!!! HAHAHA! The Jewel Box's toilet is so grand and pretty that we girls can't help ourselves. Sorry guys! :))))

It is always so fun to have these girls around. ^_^_^_^_^ I can't wait for the next gathering! This coming saturday! *YAY!*

:) After 3 years of studies, finally I graduated from University. It was not a easy road for me (and many of you). But because of you, the days seem to brighten up. Although the road had came to an end, the memories would stay forever in our minds.

HAHAHA! And I wasn't the first one to know. Dad called many times to tell me the good news followed by JY. Heex! :) I was super duper happy when I heard the news that I wanted to do a star jump (but inside a car, a bit hard, =.=||)!!! 

Ohh in case you aren't too sure what I was referring. Here is it:

The winning numbers are the birthdays of all my family members. ^_^!!! Super coincidence that I bought these numbers out of a sudden. Lucky JY called and asked whether I wanna buy (since he's helping his dad to buy too). *YAY!* But I totally forgot about his birthday, and it's part of the winning numbers. I would've scored 5 numbers! Sotong me!

But it's alrighty, till the next time then! I shall collect this winnings together with my World cup winnings (Yes! I haven't collect them yet! =.=||)!!! ^_^!!! *WHEE!*

Haven't got any idea whether is it illegal to post a picture of the lottery ticket, so just to play safe. Insert a "Specimen" in the picture! :)))))

Ohh, and in less than 5 hours is the Shape Run 2010 (and I'm still here lor-so-ing -.-"). HAHAHA! 45 minutes to complete the whole run is the target. If I didn't meet the target, I shall.........(no idea what I'll do, most probably no ice-cream?). ^_^!!! 

HAHAHA! Quite a nice number :) Might consider buying it!

Final step as a student

One more week to mark my final graduation in NTU! :) Quite excited though I know it's going to be a boring ceremony (Had attended one during poly days =.=||) The one thing I don't look forward is to wear the graduation gown. It's so long for me (even though it's the smallest size!) and I think I look too harry-potter-ish in it. =.=|| Nevertheless, I still have to wear it, and HOPEFULLY I don't trip myself when I'm on stage. I always have this idea that I will fall down during such critical time. *LOL!*

I'm still looking for my tortoise! I can't seem to find it, which is weird. I thought it's quite common. It's just like that, every time when you're looking for something, you just can't find it. If you guys happen to see it, drop me a message! :)))))

Welcome anyone who's interested to attend the convocation. However, I will only be able to attend to you after the ceremony. BUT, right after that it's photo-taking, so YES please come down if you guys are available! :)))

Just a side note, convocation also marks the last day of my boss in SSMC. :'( Definitely not something to look forward to. Just when I'm getting used to work life, he's leaving. The feeling is so 舍不得. He is definitely not the 凶 guy that I knew during my interview. 

:) Simple affair

:) Though Friday is the birthday day and I off work super late, but it was for a good cause. And the feeling of someone waiting for you outside patiently for you to finish work is indeed good. And he waited for more than half hour =.=| |  Super 不好意思!

He brought me to Paragon @ Orchard Dome to have our dinner. Our first time there. :) And we got the whole restaurant to ourselves. I mean inside, because outside the restaurant was packed with people and we had no choice to take the inside seats.  

They served a variety of food, ranging from salads & side dishes to pastas and pizza and sandwiches. :) Desserts is a must nowadays, so yes, they served that as well. Mostly cakes, which look so appealing in the display fridge. ^_^!!!

:))) While waiting for our food, we decided to try and play with my camera LOL! I was telling him about the sms that I received from my boss and how happy I was, and all the while he was just smiling at me. I wonder why. Till now I still don't know, HAHA! Maybe I'm just a too-simple girl with just simple-desires.

Our dinner! :) Simple but yummy. And of course the company counts (ALOT!) :))))

I was too full for the desserts, but he says a birthday girl should at least have a piece of birthday cake. :) So I had this sinful piece: Banana chocolate cake! YUMS! 5 mouthfuls, and the rest is in his stomach! ^_^!!!

Simple meet-up because I was extremely tired (out of a sudden), and he has to help his dad early in the morning. So right after dinner was HOME SWEET HOME. :)

This is just a simple entry, because "simple" have appeared quite a number of times. ^_^!!!

Pleasant surprise this 23rd :)

I'm the luckiest girl :) Both surprise came from colleagues! :) *beams!*

1st surprise!!! At mid-night, XXXXX (Don't ask me why it's XXXXX, it was a special request =.=||) called and sing me a birthday song. HAHAHA! It was quite some time anyone called after mid-night to sing me the birthday song. :))) Though he sounded a bit PS, but still the thought counts. Thank YOU! :))))

2nd surprise! HAHAHA! I was supposed to leave work on time, but last minute decided to go fab to walk my muscles out (have been sitting in the office the whole day!) Target was to go back at 530 just nice for the pass-down but in the end, I only managed to go back office around 630pm. =.=|| But it was a good learning opportunity! ^_^!!!

Since I missed the pass-down, I didn't get to see my boss for the whole day! I was hoping to ask him some stuff, but it was late so I thought he left the office and decided to leave it till Monday. Off I go, and while walking down the stairs, I received this sms:

It was from my BOSS! ^_^!!! HAHAHA! I literally jump down the stairs!!! Yes, I know you're thinking what's so happy about receiving a simple sms. But like I always say, I'm easily satisfied, and this sms meant a lot to me (hey! not all bosses wished happy birthday to their subordinates)!!!! :)))))

See? That's how happy I am! :))) Happy 23rd birthday! ^_^!!!

Seat belts? Hand-brake? NO?!

:) Driving lessons are getting more and more interesting. Especially when I'm only concentrating on the road and steering the wheel, and totally forgot about the basic stuff. =.=|||

1st mistake of the day. We just switched over our seats (Me taking over the driver seat) and while the instructor is busy keying stuff into his computer, I adjusted the mirrors and seat. I was very satisfied with everything, and ready to go! Took off the hazard lights, get into the correct gear, and step on the accelerator! BUT, the car doesn't move! o.O!!! And realized that the hand-brake is still on >.<"" And the 1st thing that came to my mind was: I really didn't see the hand brake when adjusting the gear. WHY? Because my seat was so in front that it block the hand brake. HAHAHA! Crap reason, but it makes my instructor laugh so loud! -.-||  

2nd mistake of the day: Seat belts! HAHAHA! Yes, I know you are wondering seat belts also can forget?!! Well, I did and it was quite funny. I had already drove like 5 minutes and suddenly this "ding-ding" sound comes about. I didn't know what is it and ask my instructor.

Me: Ehh, what happened? Did I accidentally press something wrongly?

Him: No, you didn't. (Pause) Maybe it's because you forgot about your seat belt?

Me: *STUNNED!!!* Ohh DEAR! Should I stop at the side to wear my seat belt?

Him: No need larh, this is small case! I helped you to control the steering wheel, you just keep your feet on the accelerator and wear your seat belt.

Me: Laughing away trying to wear my seat belt. HAHAHA! Damn funny, even though it was a serious mistake!

Instructor was extremely patient, telling me where are the demerit points come about. HAHAHA! I think he was trying to scare me but it was all for good cause. ^_^!!! I was a moody Sarah since morning at work, but reached home with a smile on the face. Maybe driving really can cheer me up. :))))

Yet another 第一次

YAY! :) And this piece of paper cost me 25 bucks! And I've to wrap it up myself in case I accidentally tear it. =.=||| Isn't it too good money to make?!!!!

Anyway, I was extremely nervous for the first driving lesson out on the road! I'm quite a blur queen, and multi-tasking for me is only up to 3 things at the most. So imagine, you have to look left, right, front and back, and at the same control all the accelerator + brakes (that's like a dozen things!), I think I'll panicked easily! >.<""

Luckily, I happened to have this really friendly instructor (who is also very chatty like ME! That's another thing to add to the multi-task plan) who guides me throughout the whole lesson (it's his job anyway! ^_^). HAHA! Totally enjoyed his company because unlike other instructors (who always asked me "Any Questions?"), we can chit-chat a lot more other things (like buying soccer bets? ^_^). It kind of make me more relaxed driving. ^_^!!!    

I was planning to go for lessons at least 4 times a week, but then, I realized that 3 times is already too tiring (especially during weekdays, straight after work!). Got to start to plan the schedule better, if not I'll be late every time! At the rate I'm going, soon enough I'll be known as the Late Queen! *dots!*

Cramps sux to the MAX! I don't like it, makes me can't walk properly, can't eat properly, can't enjoy my day at all (especially on a Friday night!!!).

If only there's a warm hand to help calm these cramps down.......I might be a bit happier.

But now, I'm too full to sleep and in another 4 hours I've to wake up to prepare for work =.=|| Going to be a zombie tomorrow for sure, and it's going to be a long day because I've driving lesson straight after work!

Shoes make me HAPPY!

The title says it all! Caught up with my dearest bff (someone didn't know what's bff, =.=||, you know who you are! HAHAHA!) for some dinner and late night shopping at Orchard. Actually it wasn't that late, around 4 plus and we decided to start the day off with ICE-CREAM! ^_^!!! Yums!~ Cold Rock @ 313 Somerset: Hazelnut with Nutella + Ferrero Rocher + crushed peanuts! Delicioussssssss!~

Shopped around 313 for a while before heading to The Herem for Pasta de Waraku (To avoid the dinner crowd). My 第一次 again!~ Very simple and healthy dinner, and each of us only paid around SGD8! Wahahahaha! The power of having cards in your wallet! :))))

Went on to Ion to shop, but the brands there are too exp for kids like us (HAHAHA!) and didn't manage to get anything. But, we did pamper ourselves with more Starbucks! Hot chocolate ALWAYS make me super happy even though it's fattening >.<"" (But who cares!~)

 

Over the cups of Green tea and hot chocolate, we consider getting ourselves a new pair of shoes, even though we have tons of it. But then, girls are always girls, SHOPPING for shoes is our (natural) habit. ^_^!!!But we decided to go back to 313 Mitju to get our shoes instead! :))))
