:) Happen to chance upon this picture and I was mesmerized! The picture speak a thousand words, from the soon sun-set to the clear water and also from the photographer himself. I think it's not an easy task to take such pictures. Wouldn't it be a sight if you happen to be at that place at that time and you looking through the water?

^_^! It's the 2nd time to try out the Gelare Ice-cream! HeeX! This time round, we try their main course before having our waffle ice-cream. I had the Roasted Chicken sandwich, which is super big portion. I'm already 3/4 full when I finished the whole sandwich! :) The sandwich is crispy and filled with veggies! It serves with a side salad and chips. I think it's quite affordable for students (around $9.90 per portion).

The waffle ice-cream is still so delicious from the last time I tried! :) This time I get to try more favours: Mocha Chips, Cookies N Cream (my FAVOURITE!), Chocolate Overload, Wild Strawberry, Berry "something" (with a bit of alcohol) and many more.

By the time we finish our 2 waffles ice-cream, our stomach-s are already filled to the brim! :) So we decide to go walk walk around so that can help us to digest some food!

Tried to take some 自拍 pictures but to no avail! *giggles!* In the end, a super nice lady help us to take a picture with a nice background! *thanks!*

Next we went on to SwissHotel (Right above CityHall MRT Station). I didn't know that we can go all the way up to level 70. HEex! It's was indeed a spectecular view! You can see almost part of the City area in Singapore. Clarke Quay, Singapore River, Padang, Fullerton Hotel, etc. It's almost like Hong Kong night view, with sparklings lights from all the buildings. Try going up there someday and enjoy the view! ^_^!!!

Ohh, btw, you should also go and try out their ladies! ^_^! You'll be stunned by what's inside the toilet! (I think we spend 20 minutes inside taking pictures! =.=") /giggles!

Ice creams making us happy and FULL! :)

Singapore's really beautiful at night! ^_^!

Yeah, it's been a super long time since I had a beer, and I've been longing to try out this place Wala Wala at Holland Village for a long time. So...off we go (straight after work, ZAI right? ^_^) and made our way there.

The Pub:

The place has a quiet and cool atmosphere. The lower deck mostly served food (and drinks as well) and cater to large group of people. You can also watch soccer there (if there's match), but remember it might get really hot since it's not air-conditioned. But no worries, just go on up to the upper deck and you'll feel much cooler there. They also served food and drinks upstairs but it's abit cramp so if you guys are going in a big group, be prepared to separate yourselves out (in different tables). Go earlier (to avoid the peak hours) and you will be able to find plenty of tables.

Food & Beverages:

They served mostly pizzas and pastas. Though there's also a list of snacks you can choose from. We tried their Seafood pizza (YUMMY!) and also the Parma Ham Pizza (which I don't really like because of the ham). The toppings are more than enough and the crust is crispy (crispy thin pizza) and it's really HOT! (good food is always served hot!) We also ordered their Wala Wala Chicken Wings and yes, it's delic-ious! ^_^!!!

A long list of beers and wines is available. And as long as you ordered from opening hours till 9pm, you'll get the 1-for-1 promotion. Yeah, so it's quite affordable for us students (currently working on a very low allowances) to enjoy our beer there.

Live Band:

We decided to go on Thursday because The UnXpected will be there. I must say, they're really GOOD! Enjoyed myself with their music. ^_^! They sing at different pubs so check out their schedule here.

Overall, it was an enjoyable night (though at the end, we're really tired!). I'll definitely go back there sometime soon! This time round, I'll make sure that the next day is not a working day, so I'll be able to drink more! *giggles!*

You guys rocks! ^_^!!!

Recently, I got fascinated with the advertisement on the MRT. It's from the Carls Junior and they are advertising their new burger "Original Thickburger", 100% Angus Beef. It is more than just a piece of meat, cause it's really thick and juicy.

Let's see the super thick burger here!

Anyway, I'm not here to promote their burger, but to show that sometimes Singaporean really can't take a joke, or they're thinking way too much. Just recently, an article appearing on the "MyPaper" dated Thursday March 12th 2009, some Singaporean feels that the advertisment on the subway is too "sex-related" and that it will lead to lots of other meanings, which in turn make her feel insulted.

Well, honestly, all Carls Jr marketing people do is to advertise their burger in a more unusual way to attract customers. They did not break the rules and regulations stated under the "Singapore Advertisments Rules" and it's being approved of before these posters are on pasted on the subway. AND, I think it's the lady herself that think too much of the words. Pictures of the burger is around the train, so it's obviously promoting the burger and NOT talking about some other "stuff" that insulted her! I think we're all living in a modern city, sometimes, it's good to have an open mind. Yes, we can't stop you from thinking about other "stuff" but the next time you wish to complain about some posters (that make you feel insulted), think first what does it hurts to do things in a more unusual way that helps to promote and market their products.

I enjoyed seeing these advertisments on the subway and I think their marketing is successful because lots of people still go for their burgers!

PS: I just love Carls Jr slogan! Keep up the good work guys! ^_^!!!

wahahaha! It's long past to upload the pictures, but then it's better than never. We had a crab outing at Mellben Seafood @ Ang Mo Kio. And really...it's really full of KRAB!!! Simple meal but we all enjoy eating and taking pics at the same time. ^_^!!!

Maybe I should organise a similar outing for my NTU dearies? ^_^

It's really sad to hear about the news about the NTU student committing suicide after stabbing his Professor. Sometimes, it just need something to trigger a person to do something stupid. You might regret later but it's never correct to end your life. By ending your life won't solve any problems, you will only bring sorrow to your loved ones.

Here I am, saying all this, but sometimes I do think that it's best if I can just disappear from this world. I don't feel like giving anyone any explanation for whatever decisions I made. Because I can't explain to you. It's just my own decisions and how my brain thinks. Unless you're able to read my mind, I won't be able to tell you why this. You might think I'm selfish but this is how I think and feel.

But...right now it's not time to disappear...cause there are still a lot of stuff that I can't let go YET.

My family...Friends...my bed...my cupboard...my netbook...everything that really belongs to me...

No it's not time to go yet.
