Short getaway! (Part 2)

:) :) :) I'm back with Part 2 of my short getaway! HAHAHA! It's always fun to be away for a day or two just to relax and have tons of fun, but when you're back in Singapore, you got to spend time updating the blog which can be a hassle! ^_^!!!

On our way to the Batam! :)) Bad hair day though, super messy in the morning! -_-""

I shall start with the room which we're allocated to on the 3rd floor with a view of the sea! Splendid! ^_^!!! HAHAHA! But it can gets really hot in the afternoon because there's the 夕照 but it's good to dry our wet clothes from the water activities! :))

Twin bed room, with the essential toiletries and a view of the beach from our room! :) Ohh, not to forget the 贵妃 chair which is super comfortable! But not recommend to sleep on it for long hours! =.=|| My tor tor enjoying the air-con in the room after a long day out! ^_^!!!

Right after lunch was some sun-tanning at the swimming pool! HAHAHA! It's super hot and I barely can take the heat so we decided to go to the beach and see whether there's any nice water activities! HAHAHA! I had another first time! Banana BOAT! ^_^_^_^!

All ready for the banana boat! ^_^!!! Super excited! Till I asked the captain whether there's sharks in the sea (in case we capsized!) and he hesitated before answering me "it's safe here". In a way, he didn't really tell me whether there are sharks, so I decided to take the last 2nd seat on the boat because from the movies, the last person is always eaten up by the sharks. =.=||

We're still quite dry from the ride, but in a while......HAHAHA! All inside the water! I drank quite some seawater when I landed. :)) But the feeling of getting tossed in the air for that split second is really SHIOKNESS! :))))

Heex! Quite a candid shot! The water is really blocking all my sight and I can barely go the boat. LOL!

Seafood Dinner along the roadside @ Nagoya, was told the shopping mall there is the biggest in Batam. And it looks really big because we didn't manage to finish all the shopping! ^_^!!! We went to have a look at their supermarket and all their prices is so high! LOL!

Their refrigerator can cost up till 2 million! HAHAHA! Imagine going there to buy a fridge you need a bodyguard to protect you! HAHAHA :))) And their french fries is packed as much as you like. HAHAHA! It's Mr Lin's favorite that I can't helped but to snap a shot of him! Lots of varieties of food (similar to our hypermarket in Singapore) and things are cheaper as compared here.

A Magnum Almond ice-cream to end the night! Delicious! ^_^!!!

Alrighty, shall continue the updates for the last day @ Batam tonight! Off for the family portrait shoot! EXCITED! :))))

Just trying out the different effects in my Omnia 2 :)) HAHAHA! Have a great weekend ahead! :)))

Photoshop works wonders! :)))

:))) I'm totally amazed by the great job done by the photographer (CT and his lovely wife!) for Miss Wu's wedding @ Seletar Country Club! HAHAHA! The effects are great and they have this dreaming feeling to it. PREFECT! :)))

Hehehe! How I wished I really have such white skin! :))) Ohh maybe it's because I'm standing besides the "black" guy! HOHO! I ♥ this shot lots!~
A candid shot? Hehehe! Was preparing to gather all the guests for the "opening champagne" ceremony. *YAY!*

Anyway, it was a great experience to be the emcee for a joyous occasion. You will definitely immersed in the happy and fun-filled atmosphere. I was quite nervous, but still I managed to say what I wanna say (maybe in different sequence). Hehehehe! I welcome any one of you to hire me as your emcee! *Wheee!* (Don't worry I don't charge high ^_^!!!)

A personal shot! :)) The greenery is making everyone happy and lucky it was a super hot day. Quite breezy actually. But I came prepared, hair all up in case the weather gets too HOT! ^_^!!!

How I wished I have good photoshop skills too! ^_^!!!

A great monday to start off a great week! :))))

:))) What a day! My first visit to the Bird Park! Yes yes yes, I know I live in Jurong for 23 years and you must be wondering why I haven't visit the park since it's so near. HAHAHA! Reason being I wasn't interested in looking at birds. Especially they can fly which makes me super nervous.

Super convenient! Just take 194 from Boon Lay Bus Interchange to reach right outside the Bird Park! :)))

Imagine walking halfway and suddenly you got "bombed!" *URGH!!! HAHAHAHA! But I was lucky today since I didn't get bombed! :)) Had lots of fun feeding the Lory and the Pelicans. But these birds can be quite noisy when they have a big group coming to you and only one cup of food for them. -_-""

The hungry Lory birds feeding on the cup of honey and a bunch of Pelicans suntanning in the sunny afternoon! ^_^!!!

Anyway the day ended with private driving lesson! :))) *YAY!* I drove myself home all the way from Bugis (of course, I skipped all the expressway roads! HAHAHA!) Appreciate a lot for letting me drive your car home! :)) Ohh, and it's a PINK car! HAHAHAHA! Who wouldn't ♥ it? ^_^!!!

P.S: Detective Dee is quite a nice show! Go try!~

Short getaway! (Part 1)

:))) Just loves all the short getaways! Away from work, from reality and just concentrate on getting drunk with all the fun and food! Of course, the MOST important of all, the company!

I decided to celebrate my Children's Day this year overseas! (I haven't celebrate for so many years! -_-"") Destination is Batam! :))) Heex! And happen that there's a promotion for Passion Card members. It only cost us 50SGD per room per night at the Batam Beach View Resort. The rate is inclusive of a breakfast, to and fro transportation from the ferry terminal to the resort. ^_^!!! *CHEAP!* Of course, we had to get our own ferry tickets from Tenah Merah Ferry Terminal (TMFT) to Nongsapura Terminal @ Batam. A 2-way ticket cost us 46SGD. :)) So, in total per person is around 71SGD.

The room I was allocated at the resort. :))) 355! HOHO! :))

I have never been to TMFT and honestly, the place is super wu-lu! Lucky, there's a bus in, and while on the way there, I realized that I actually cycle past the place before! LOL!

I was early and while waiting for my colleagues, I decided to snap some photos. So I went searching for my camera in my super big bag (even though it's only 2D1N trip! But I'm a girl! HAHA!). I found my camera but it doesn't work at all. And guess what?! There isn't any battery inside! o.O!!! I brought an empty camera with charger but no battery! -_-""" Who can be more blur than me?

Anyway, no choice but to use my Omnia 2 camera! Hehehe! :))) While waiting for my ferry to come, Mr Lin snapped a shot of me! :))) A self-shot to start the ball rolling! HAHAHA! :)))

I always think that Singapore provides good services and directional signs for tourists. HAHAHA! Look at those big words, who can miss it? :))) And our tickets are booked through New Century Tours. I was extremely excited because it has been a super long time since I took a ferry! And I ♥ ferry ride! The 遥遥遥 feeling never fails to calm me down and make me sleepy! ^_^!!

Arrival at Nongsapura Terminal and I'm a happy girl! But Mr. Sunshine is super big today, barely able to open the eyes if you're not wearing a sunglasses. My first shot upon arrival (and I haven't check out yet o.O!!)

For passport holders listed in the list, they are required to do their visa on arrival. It's a simple application process with a 25USD application fee. I was told that the visa will last for a month. That's quite short considering that it's not that cheap to make the visa. =.=||

Right at the ferry terminal, we didn't have to check out the custom because there are people from the resort helping us clear the terminal. HAHAHA! So it's like we just walked out without stamping our passport. LOL! There's a resort bus waiting outside for us and by the time we reached the resort, it was packed! o.O!!!

.......

Shall stopped here for part 1 :)) Heex! Going to prepare for another of my 第一次s! Bird Park, HERE I COME! :))) HOHO!~~

Are dreams real? Or they just appear in la-la-land?

For 2 consecutive days, I had the same dream! WaH! ^_^!!! Seriously, this is the first time!!! Usually I will dream about similar themes but not the same main characters. *Heex!* Luckily it wasn't any nightmare, but a funny dream, and I woke up smiling happily.

Ohh, and the smile lasted for 5 seconds before I panicked. It was already 730AM! -.-"" There goes my morning rush hour with the train crowd, and 30 bucks to travel down to work.

Every now and then, a sinful dessert will definitely put a smile on my face. Macha ice with vanilla ice-cream from Ministry of Food (MOF).

Maybe the crave for pasta is over, and new cravings are coming up! Still I missed eating pasta! Who's interested to bring me out for PASTA???!!! /giggles! ^_^!!!!!

A sneak preview to the wedding again! :))) Most of the SSMC colleagues and their family! There are more, imagine us as a big family from our department! :)))

PS: I missed my colleague, and his car too! HAHAHA! I can't wait for him to come back! LOL! ^_^!!!

The big day for Miss Wu, Mrs Wong now :)))

:)) :)) Heex! Although there's only 4 hours of sleep, I woke up smiling (maybe I should say a grumpy smile) to get ready for my colleague wedding!

I was super nervous throughout the whole ceremony (even though I'm not the bride) because I didn't prepare much for my speech. Luckily Miss Wu's university friend keep on encouraging me (he's standing beside me) and keeping me calm! HAHAHA! ^_^!! And I didn't know who is he in the first place. He just kept on talking to me, and I was figuring which department is he from. =.=|||

Lots to say, but I'm kind of lazy to upload the photos now. Shall do it when I'm feeling more not-so-lazy. ^_^!!!

Here's my favorite photo of the day! :) Hehehe! And don't mistaken, I borrow the flowers from Miss Wu! :))) Hehehe! Trying to get a shot with the car too, and happen that the lighting is good! ^_^!! (Sunshine after the rain!)

HAHAHA! The flowers do go well with my dress! Just ♥ it! ^_^!!! And my hair is super messy! Just that you can only see it from the back. /giggles!

And this shot, I'm just trying to act angelic HAHAHA! I mean the lighting is in my favor, so need to make full use of it. ^_^!! Not too bad, if only there's a halo on my head! *heex!*

Thank you Mr Lin! For driving us around the whole day. For accompanying me to the wedding and most importantly, for taking this shot of me. HAHAHAHA! ^_^!!!

SO many 第一次s :))))

HAHAHAHA! Just came back from driving and have lots to say! ^_^!! First of all, for 2 consecutive days I got my favorite instructor! *YAY!* I'm so used to his coaching style that everytime he's in the car, I'll be able to drive well for that lesson. Ahhh, how I wished he could be my tester! *giggles!*

Anyway, had a mock test by him today, circuit was alright, parallel parking need to practice more to make it more smooth. :)))) And out on the road, he decides to send me home because he says I didn't sleep much last night (totally surprised by him!) ^_^!!!

Drive drive drive....he suddenly stunned me again. =.=||

He: Turn left in front to the petrol kiosk.

Me: HUH? (Looking at the fuel tank) The tank is still quite full leh.

He: I know, I need to go pay PUB bills.

Me: HUH??? (Louder this time round!) I didn't know can go petrol kiosk to pay bills nowadays. Hmmm....

He: (Gave me a -_-"" look) Pay PUB bills means go toilet larh....

Me: OMG! (HAHAHA!) You're my 第一次 again.

He: WHAT???!!! *giggles!*

Me: I haven't had a instructor who wants to go toilet during lesson time mah, you're the first.

^_^!!! LOL! And so he went to pay his bills while I stayed in the car waiting and seriously thinking whether to leave him at the petrol kiosk. But then, on second thoughts, he's such a dearie that I don't wanna get him in trouble. ^_^!!! (I'm an angel isn't it? Hehehehe! Maybe with a devil horn hidden!)

Back on the road, we started to discuss about 第一次s. And we realized that he has quite a number of 第一次s with me. He is the instructor to bring me out on the road for the first time. He is also the instructor to send me home from class (although I drove the car myself). And now the first instructor to use the toilet during lesson time. HAHAHA! Ohh, he's also the first instructor to bring me out for lunch after lesson. ^_^!!!

If anyone of you decides to learn driving, go for BBDC under school system. It will be more expensive than learning private, but more systematic learning is the key point. And if you got him as your instructor you will be able to learn well and fast, and at the same time have lots of fun! ^_^!!!

Off to bed for another few hours of sleep before work again :)))

SleepingWithABigSmileOnTheFace,
saaaaRah! ^_^!!!

Just for laughs! :)))

Alrighty, this is gonna be just another random post. HAHAHAHA! And the content might be a bit too "adult" but don't blame me, I happened to hear it on the radio. *giggles!*

I'm sure you guys know about the "69" position? Or maybe most of you know about it. If you DON'T know, it's alright, you will in time, so don't go google right now! It might lead you to some websites that you don't want to go. =.=||

Anyway, there's a new number on the list. HAHAHA! 20!!!! I was actually expecting some bigger number, but turns out to be quite small. And guess what? It refers to the 20 toes on the 2 person. As for the rest of the story, I'll just leave it for me to know, for you to find out and imagine! HAHAHAHA! :))))

Hehehe!~ I just hope that Han don't see this post, if not I'm dead! LOL! :)))

I think I've grown fatter! BoooHooo!!! I'm going to go on diet soon! Not I mean RIGHT NOW!!! :((((

6 hours of q-time!

:))) It was my swing shift off on Monday, so I decided to go for a doctor appointment. This doctor was recommended by my colleague and I wanna try out to solve my problem once and for all! *YAY!* But the con about this doctor is that she's so popular that you need to be there 2 hours beforehand to q first before the clinic opens.

Well, as usual, I thought that maybe it's too exaggerating. I cannot wake up in time for the morning session, so no choice, have to go for the afternoon session. They open at 2.30pm, so I took my time reaching there around 1pm.

OHH MY GOD! The queue is super duper long, and it looks kind of funny with so many people outside a closed shop. HAHAHAHA! We joined the queue, but someone told me that all the queue number for the afternoon session have given out. Wah, kind of disappointed but no choice. Got to come back in the evening to try our luck.

Off we go, to get more stuff done for the upcoming wedding! Round and round, and finally back to the clinic. We were a bit late and the queue as usual is so long. This time the nurse didn't come out to give q number so we have to wait till 7pm (when it opens for the evening session) and see whether we're lucky enough to get a q number :)))

And I'm damn lucky, cause I'm the last person! ^_^!!!!

By now, you must be wondering which clinic that has this madness queue. There you go! Here is it! :))) They specialized in skin problems, and not those usual general clinics that we go when we're sick. ^^

However, we were told that the queue will only be this long if the Dr Ong is the shift doctor for the day. Have no idea why she's so popular. She's working on Monday, 3 different shifts. Morning all the way till night time. If you don't feel like q-ing for her, you might want to consider going for other days since the products used are the same. :))))

So, instead of waiting outside for our queue, we decided to pamaper ourselves by going for a manicure! :))))

:))) Our glittering fingers! Super CHIO! I ♥ it! Makes me feel so girly with this purple color :))))

The inside of the clinic with their products all on display. Small, but tidy (except maybe their magazine rack ^_^!!!). And at this late hour, there's still so many q-ing for their turn! o.O!!!

:))) I was quite happy when it's finally my turn. Just a small conversation with the doctor, and she's really a nice lady. Hopefully the cream she gave me works and in 3 weeks time I'll be able to see the effects! ^_^!!!

PS: Thanks for driving me home! *hugs!*

Ohh, and my colleagues seems to enjoy talking about balloons so much that they crowd around my table laughing at me. I totally have no idea why, until XXXXX told me the reasons. And yes I learnt something new. :))))

3D now, maybe 4D in future?

2 nights ago, I had my 第一次 again. HAHAHAHA! I know what you're thinking, but you're totally wrong!!! =.=|| This time round, the first time is so much more FUN! :))) You must be getting real excited about the details now right? LOL!

Here's my first time:

HAHAHAHA! (A bit disappointed? No? ^^) Although 3D movies have been going on for some time, this is my first time wearing the specs and sitting inside a 3D movie theater. Everything's the same, and you will only know the difference when the show started. The screen will be quite blurry if you don't wear the specs. But once it starts, all the images will become 3D and right in front of you. *YAY!* Imagine you can just reached out and touch the main lead's face. Imagine he's Tom Cruise / Keanu Reeves. WOW! You'll be damn excited, barely sitting still on the seat.

Just before the show starts, we just can't resist taking a shot in our new sunglasses. HAHAHA! And I realized that I got quite a high nose. :))) I'm able to wear my specs together with the 3D glasses! *YAY!* Ohh, at this is also the first time I took a photo in the cinema (with flash!). No complaints from others, so I supposed they really can understand how excited the 3 first timers are! :))))

And till now, you guys must be wondering what movie I watched. :)) Step up 3! ^_^!!! The movie is GREAT. Just one word. With a simple storyline, fabulous dance moves and hot babes + guys, what else for me to ask for? (Maybe 2 bodyguards for the night? LOL!)

Ohh, and JY was mentioning that after watching the movies, he's so tempted to start dancing,. So I keep wondering him rotating on his head on floor. OMG! HAHAHAHA! *opps!*

豆花, 油条, 豆浆 after the movies! :) YUMS! ^^

** If you haven't watched the movie, go grab your tickets during this weekend, it's going off-screen soon! Don't miss it! :))) **

Thoughts for you and me :)

*!!!! This entry is just a random thought. !!!!*

While showering, lots of thoughts went through my mind. It's like boom bing bang all around my mind. And here I am trying to enjoy the shower after a long day out. =.=||

SPARE TYRE? I'm sure you knows the definition of this. But do you know that it can mean a lot more than just an additional tyre carried in a vehicle. A bulging layer of fat around the waist (potbelly) also meant spare tyre (but usually we used it in a humorously way ^_^).

But to me, spare tyre is someone who isn't important. Just a back-up as and when needed. It might sound crude, but tell me honestly, isn't that the truth? No one wants to be a spare tyre, but then in life it's impossible to avoid the ups and downs. Somewhere along the way, you might become someone's else spare tyre and you will know that the feeling sux totally. It's common, and yes I feel this way sometimes. Sadly but unavoidable.

One got to admit to themselves whether being a spare type is worth the time and effort. You might think it's worth it, but what about the other side? People always say don't take things for granted, but have you thought that maybe you're just being taken granted for? Be kind to yourself, don't underestimate the power of love for yourself. In due time, this love might save you from collapsing into the dark hidden hole.

Anyway, ........

:) Quite a negative post when in fact I'm feeling this way:

My winning ticket! Going to collect the winnings SOON! :))) HOHOHO!~ ^_^!!!

Signing off to bed,
saRah! :))

Totally unexpected = pleasant SURPRISE!

Yes! Now I really believe in pure LUCK (or maybe coincidence again?)!!! ^_^!!! HAHAHA!

Imagine this. You found 2 lottery tickets inside an envelope. Both draw dates are quite long ago (Maybe a month old). What will you do? Throw away into the wastepaper bin or double check the results? :)))

I threw them away (Yeah, you must be thinking I'm a crazy girl). I mean, the first thing that came to my  mind was "So long ago, sure didn't win one". So what's the point of going to Singapore Pools and slowly load the results out. But then, on second thoughts (which was very last minute), I decided to waste that few minutes just to double check. HAHAHA! I picked up the tickets and went on to check the TOTO results.

*Loading page~*...............

TOTO results: 3 numbers strike only. My hopes practically dropped to zero. =.=|| Sian! But still I got 1 more ticket to check: the 4D ticket!!! :)))))

I totally wasn't expecting this!!! REALLY!

My employee number just strike for the first time! :))) HAHAHAHA! I always think it's a good number, since it represent my birthday! *YAY!!!* And I was shouting in the room till my sister came dashing into the room thinking I have gone crazy. ^_^!!!!

HAHAHAHA! One more thing: the morale of the story: Always double check! :)))) LOL!

It's out it's out it's out!!!

I was just mentioning the photos are out, and I just can't wait to get my hands on them! So, right after work, even though it's raining, and  the crowd on the MRT is a headache, I still went down to the studio with a :)))) face! *giggles!* I knew the photos will turn out great because even without editing, they looked wonderful!

So what to expect when they're fully edited? INCREDIBLE? HAHAHA! :)))

Let the pictures do the talking!~~~

The whole family :))) with the guys in front!

This time round with the girls in front! :)))

A playful sight of us! :)) We're just kids at times!

All my girlfriends, they share my joy and sorrow for the past 3 years! :)))

Not to forget, my honey! :)))) Hehehe! We do look somewhat alike if you can spot the similarities! HAHAHAHA! :))))

These are just the group shots, the individuals shots are great too! Especially Boss Han! I think he looked too 帅 to be real in person! *LOL!* :)))))

Although I was feeling down after work, these pictures definitely make me a happy girl. They work better than chocolates and ice-creams! :)))

Sunday, September 05, 2010

:))) One piece of good news! The studio photos are out! ^^ I can't wait to see the nicely "photo-shopped" photos of all my dearies! Gotta make a trip down to the studio to collect the photos some time this week! *YAY!*

Anyway, I spent the first half of the day doing almost NOTHING, super inefficient today. Most probably due to the fact that the night before, I was running a slight fever. =.=|| *bleah!* Quoted from CM: "It's never wise to fall sick on the weekends." It's definitely true, wasted 1 day lying on the bed and doing nothing except waking up in cold sweats + grumpy mood! :(((

Late in the afternoon though, JY called and say he can't finished with his book, and so I thought maybe if I "supervised" him and make sure he study well and FAST, he will  be prepared for his upcoming papers. So, we grabbed our books (I brought my storybook along, ♥!!!) and headed down to SMU! :))) With a cup of frappe from Starbucks, we spent 2 hours reading! ^^

Dinner was at Aston's @ The Cathay (sort of a reward for him) and the food was great as usual, just too filling for both of us! ^_^!!!

What makes my Teriyaki Chicken even more delicious was the baby boy sitting next to me. I practically can't take my eyes off him!~ JY was complaining to me that it seems like he was having dinner alone instead of me sitting right in front of him. HAHAHA! I told him not to get jealous over a small baby, but he's was scowling over his dinner (because I looked at the baby more than looking at him). *LOL!*

The baby was so adorable that I wanna hug him so badly! HAHAHA! But I think there's a law governing strangers from hugging babies in public (No?). So too bad for me, but right before I left, the baby gave me a mega-watt smile and say "bye-bye" in a little voice to me. At that moment, he stole my heart away. HAHAHAHA!

Facial is ♥!!!

I missed blogging, especially of my super interesting day-to-day life! :))) HAHAHA! ^_^!!!!

It's good to jot down all the happy, sad, surprise, "out-of-nowhere" things that happened everyday in your life. Imagine when you're 70 years old (hopefully, there's still blogspot for me to use!), and you read through all these entries that you've created, I'm sure you'll be smiling to yourself. Sweet memories running through your mind~ ahhhhhh~ SWEEETTTT~.............

Anyway, last Friday was my swing shift off, so we (together with 吴小姐) booked an appointment to go for a SPA! HAHAHA! Another 第一次! We decided to go for the facial one though, since both of us lack of sleep these days!!! (Busy with preparations for her wedding! *YAY!*)

Lifespa @ Pacific Plaza, Orchard :))) Their trial session wasn't that bad. As usual, the first part of the facial is PAIN! But the aftermath is smooth and shiny skin! ♥!!! HAHAHA! When I put on some loose powder + blusher, the face looks so gentle (??? Or more like so clear and white)!!!

The green bean soup taste so Mummy-ish! HAHAHA! It's delicious and definitely feels good after a sleep! ^_^!!! I told Miss Wu that we're not going to sign any package before we even go for the appointment. But in the end the offer was too tempting to reject. HAHAHA! Now I can go for SPA anytime I like! *YEAH!*

After that was shopping for shoes! *YAY!* Almost every month I will have a new pair of shoes! (Can't believe where I can store all these shoes too!)

One of the shoes we tried! :) So high, and I'm sure my legs will be shouting at me for causing them pain! Hehehe! But I wanna look tall, so no choice! HAHAHA!

Dinner after a long day walking and shopping! :))) Retail therapy definitely work wonders to girls! ^_^!!! More preparations to come! :))))

Impressed with myself :))))))

I seem to create a sensation from writing a wrong chinese character. And I totally have no excuse why I would make such a mistake too. Just don't understand what was running through my mind when I posted the status.

30 comments just for one single mistake! Wah! I think my friends are really "nice" people! They seem to have so much fun "souring" either my driving skills or my Chinese. =.=|||

Well, I'm a optimistic person. I shall take it that I'm the 开心果, making them smile to brighten up their day! ^_^!!!
